That is not an acceptable answer. Completely unacceptable. A flurry of emotions bombard Grima all at once. Rage being the most prominent, but he does not need it at the moment. A clear head and rational choices, that will bring the best outcomes. If the Fell God had made any progress in these lands, he would be able to offer this whelpling a home. But no, the elder dragon took his leisure, sight seeing the best places to conquer first. 

His kingdom lies in another dimension. A trip there meant he could safely raise the whelp until he’s very sure he can defend himself. However, Grima has not fully converted that world into the utopia he dreamed. It is desolate, still in the process of recovering from his cleansing fire. 

With a deep breath, he clears any contrasting feelings, dispelling them all in favor of keeping cool. “Then I shall be their substitute,” conviction coats his words, expression steeled with it as well. “What is your name, whelpling?” 

     The young Dragon blinked as he watched the other’s face curiously. What was he thinking about? It wasn’t until he spoke again that a shocked expression crossed the Dawn Dragon’s face. He wasn’t sure how to feel about this. “Um, Hotoke, but I’ve been fine on my own for a long time now sir.” Considering his powers, he was pretty decent at using them so far. “I’ve got Kerrigan to keep me company if I get lonely.” His tone was far from disrespectful, he was merely explaining his situation to the other Dragon.

He must be staring. It explains the burn in his eyes and the pure shock written across his face. A whelpling? Truly? Grima cannot fathom where this little one’s parents may be, but he needs to go back. He knows not the child’s strength, but he’d rather not risk poachers or other vermin possibly killing the whelp.
