The Walker family recently posed for this photo of their Aggie Rings. That is William “Bill” Walker ’52 in the center, with (clockwise) his daughter Juliann Walker Chavez '87, his daughter Jamie Rae Walker ’99, and his granddaughter (Juliann’s daughter) Jacqueline Ann Chavez '17. In addition to four Aggie Rings, this photo also represents five A&M degrees completed and one more coming soon. What a great representation of the Aggie Spirit! But it is a bittersweet photo -- we’re saddened to report that Bill Walker passed away yesterday, just shortly after we received this photo. But we’re thankful Bill Walker was an Aggie, and we’re grateful for the amazing Aggie legacy he leaves behind. Here.
Silver Taps is tonight. We stand for Anita Mantri ’14, an Aggie medical student killed Nov. 6 in a car wreck. https://medicineinsider.tamhsc.edu/in-memoriam-anita-mantri/
