hi there! this is Verby - I haven’t flown off the face of the planet. :-) (and following me - agentverbivore - on twitter isn’t weird at all, although I can’t remember the last time I posted there, haha, so you might be disappointed.)

I’m sorry you were panicked when looking for my primary blog, @agentverbivore. a great source of anxiety and stress for me over the past few months has been that tumblr unfairly suspended my primary blog and has not responded to a single one of my requests to reinstate it since August 16, 2018. (which, fun fact, was the same day my mother was in major surgery. super kind of tumblr to choose that day to lock me out of an account that is extremely precious to me without any response or consideration.) 

I’ve sent dozens of emails to @support and even tried calling (although the only phone number I could find went to a dummy voice mailbox that I’m sure is never checked by a human being, and surprisesurprise, no one ever returned my call). it’s been months and I’m at my wit’s end as to how to ever get my account back. it’s become extremely clear to me that @staff doesn’t give two shits about their users and are perfectly happy to block legitimate accounts permanently for no reason. I had been on a self-imposed tumblr break at the time (full on break, rarely accessing my account), but I didn’t and don’t want to leave my main account forever. (I had been planning on returning around the new season of Doctor Who, although of course that was made impossible.)

I apologize for making this personal post on this blog (breaks one of my loose rules of running @agentsofpsych) - to be honest, I’m not sure it’ll even post. I don’t know how the “suspension” works, and I have been reluctant to do anything on my tumblr account overall in case I somehow make this suspension worse, or, worst of all, somehow prompt @staff to unfairly terminate my account entirely. I would be devastated. the suspension alone has caused me to have multiple anxiety attacks all by itself, not that @support seems to care.

if anyone has any advice, please feel free to share, although I warn you that I’ve likely already tried everything. 

maybe reblog this post and hope that someone from tumblr’s account management will see this and take pity on me? *sigh*
