Untitled. Purposely.

As the days wore on and the regularity of Mikasa in your life becomes ever more apparent, the more you feel that moat shrink and the more you realize you like when her hands touch you, and you think that you don't like to be so alone anymore. Somewhere between her kissing your hand in the midst of a dreary diner and now you've come to hold her in much closer a regard than you had anyone else in some long time.

A few weeks of what you can only call charming harassment and flurries of black hair and fleeting touches has led you to something almost resembling weakness for her, apparently only evident when under the influence of alcohol. But still, you know it to be true.

You don't particularly listen, though you find yourself releasing a small, amused snort when you hear her say the words sexual organs. Less because you're immature and more because it's completely ridiculous to say those words in any environment outside the classroom- you were sure not even Hanji'd ever said that outside a lesson.

Still, as you see her sink down onto her side, body meeting the bed you too were laying on, and you hear her say those words, you do what you assuredly would not be doing were you sober to the fullest, and move yourself over beside her, and take the girl into your arms, chin pressed gently against her shoulder and her hair tickling your face, something you've unadmittedly come to enjoy.

For all she knew, yes, you'd simply invited her over for her to see the cat you'd purchased after her telling you, and telling you-- and not being around enough and adding to your loneliness. However, you do not tell her this. Unfortunately, since beginning this, you've found yourself increasingly more and more alone without her around- or even Hanji, whom you never wanted near you before.

You'd be more ashamed of yourself if you were completely sober.

However you quickly get over the issue and instead focus on two things. Firstly, the road. Secondly, the fact that Mikasa and the kitten are in the same space and for some reason this makes you content. Maybe there's a small smile playing at your lips, though you'd only blame it on the bit of alcohol you'd consumed.

Upon reaching home, the grand place that it is, you pull yourself from the vehicle-- here having the only issue with coordination the entire night, as your foot gets caught in the seat belt by some strangle and unforgiving force-- and make your way to the doorway to open it up for the girl. As you watch her enter, cat in hand, you think about the past few weeks, and that if anything you were what some might consider a couple. Law breaking aside. You release a breath through your nostrils, eyes on her shoulders as you close the door behind you.
