ORIFLUX Color meanings: Deep red: romantic Deep pink: sexual Light pink: aesthetic Yellow: platonic Orange: sensual. The greys in between are for the fluctuation of the orientations. Oriflux can be used by anyone who experiences 2 or more orientation fluctuations. Can be used as an umbrella term or by itself! โOriโ stands for orientation.

Aflux flag
This flag is based off of the current designs for the ace and aroflux flags. The green represents being aromantic, the purple represents being asexual, and the red represents alloromantic/allosexual. The gradients between represent the fluidity between identities.
The red and the purple are on opposite sides of the flag because the fluidity aren't inherently related to each other (but they can be!!! I'm still not sure all the ways to be aflux because I'm the only one I know)
I have gone through many labels throughout my life. In the passed three or so years I have considered myself panro ace, demiflux (demisexual and aceflux), demiromantic demisexual, etc. Iโve always considered myself aspec, and after a while, I just considered my orientation to be broadly ace-spec ad panromantic and left it there. But that never felt satisfactory, because I felt that there was something to define me, but I just couldnโt place it.
This all came to culmination at the end of my last relationship, where both her and I really figured out that Iโm definitely on the aromantic spectrum. Coincidentally, this was right before Aromantic Spectrum Awareness Week, wherein I also found a few more labels I went byโ โspecifically cupioromantic and quoiromanticโbut still nothing felt right.
Then I did more soul-searching and chatting with people, and just assessing my thoughts and specifically how I think about people I like, and really came upon the thought that I am aflux.
Aflux
Aflux is the sexual/romantic orientation of being both aceflux and aroflux; wherein both whether or not a person feels sexual or romantic attraction changes day by day.ย
Iโve seen aflux as a term used a few times, but I have not yet seen a flag for it, nor someone using it as an identity. So, Iโm going to journal my experiences regarding my orientation in hopes that it may catch on.
