who are some people you genuinely think could be good couples? or at least power couples?
Good couples are boring. People getting along does nothing for me in my line of work. Interesting power couples, on the other hand, is something I can get behind. So here are my choices for couples who could rule the school with the right maneuvers:
Jacob Beresford & Bella Rosenwald: Two hot sixth generation students who have a basis of friendship and literally billions of dollars in between them, it's a surprise that Jacob dated the Vanderbitch over the blonde. Well Daddy always did prefer a Jackie O over a Marilyn, didn't he, Jakey? If Bella could get over the fact that Jacob likes boys and if Jacob could get over his fear of commitment and responsibility and vaginas and basically his entire being, they could easily rival and topple King Marcus and Queen Victoria. This relationship would never work for long. Didn't anyone see how quickly Beresford threw the Vanderbitch away once they were broken up and Bella seems to have her eye on a different Arkwright boy, one who doesn't have Jeremy's number on speed-dial. They would never work, but it'd sure be fun to watch everyone quiver in fear.
Oliver Beauregard & Victoria Adler: This one would be interesting solely because of how easily it would piss off the King himself, Marcus Beresford. They are both, interestingly enough, fourth generations who both feel the need to prove how powerful they are, Victoria more openly than Oliver. They'd seem like the pair who would scheme well together, Oliver behind the scenes while Victoria uses the fear she brings to wield the actual power. See, despite Oliver's best intentions, he's about as scary as a puppy. Him by Victoria's side as her boytoy would give him just what he needs to take his plans to the next level. Would it be difficult for them to get together? I doubt it, since he already has an in to the Adler family thanks to baby brother Philippe. Would they actually get together? Probably not. Victoria is way too frigid to ever take on a younger lover and Oliver is too dickmatized right now to even notice if a hot older woman took interest. I guess it's no sexy French time for these two.
Braxton Kirkpatrick & Alexandra Ericsson: Now notorious dickhopper Alexandra may never even notice the guys who don't have a big shiny 'A' in front of their dormitory, but it's her own fault if she doesn't see past her own Blackbourne bias. Not only is Braxton hot (her type) and single (even more her type), he's like a warm breeze against a hammock; calm, cool, and collect and that just might help sow this wild girl's oats. Now what would he get in return? Well despite what is sure to be a healthy sex life, Brax would be dating a fourth generation with some sway to move he and the rest of his siblings to the upper houses, something his sister would most definitely enjoy. Will they ever get together? Maybe Alex may see him as an available dick she hasn't ridden yet, but who knows if these two would ever go beyond that if they actually met.
Landon Walker & Lorraine Crimsen: As my parents always said, those who social climb together, stay together. It's clear the one thing that would bind them together would be their desires to be in Arkwright and Blackbourne but where else do relationships start from? Landon may be a jock, but he doesn't seem dumb, well besides that one time with the Royce's. He'd have to see that while his own reputation is tarnished, Lorraine's isn't, which would make it easier for her to finagle their way up into the elite. What would she get in return with him? Well he seems like a decent enough guy and he's a looker, way hotter than the 50 year old she's fucking now. Hey, at least Landon won't represent your daddy issues and it's not like the kid is broke either. Will they actually happen? Probably not. Lorraine is setting her sights way too high and Arkwright boys are trained from birth to recognize when a golddigger is trying to get their hooks in.
Nathaniel Wayland & Levi Scanlon: I constantly get messages about how hot these two are and personally, I don't see it. Maybe it's just me, but I prefer those who don't look like they only bathe once a week. Despite their claims of 'friendship' and 'aromanticism', it's clear that these two are head over heels in love with each other and if they could get the negative influences away, like the drugs and the liars, and stop painting their weird art, they could build a healthy stable relationship together that would easily be seen and influence the entire school, thus attaining power couple status. That won't happen with these two. They'll keep pretending they are cyborgs who aren't programmed to love (beep boop beep boop) and that they only fuck each other because they have nothing better to do until one of them can't take it anymore and declares his love for the other. Any wagers on who it will be first? I will take bets on that.
Hannah Montgomery & Poppy Gilbert: Anyone who Hannah decides to date will instantly reach power couple status. Why is that? Because the girl is a force to be reckoned with and unlike some others on this list, she's not trying hard to be on top of the world. She's beautiful, smart, and a fifth generation, meaning that she is probably cultured to a T, which is why she needs a punk rock princess to shake her up a little bit. Poppy is driven, humble, and can have a good time and these two could easily break barriers, alongside Nathaniel and Levi, that could influence the entire school to follow the same. The only question if these two are attracted to each other. Poppy seems like a free-wheeling kind of girl, but Hannah is harder to get a read on, which means she's a wild card. If they do decide to get together, be prepared for flawless fashion and a desire to change the world starting with Heathfield.
