The air is salty, the sands soft and floury, and the skies are as bright as the future. Hau'oli University is for the trainers of the world to refine their talents and join society with̵͜͝ ͜͞͠ ̴̷ ̢͜͞ ͘͠ 

    …sorry about that, had to take over from the other commentator. Hau'oli University is a peculiar school, where trainers come to learn and study for their futures. But as with most places with a lot of powerful Pokémon Trainers, things are never to be normal. Fraternities and sororities are the least of your worries in this bizarre social climate. Here, we have a very intense assortment of characters, ranging from all marks of the morality grid. A major question, supposedly, is where might you fit into all of this? And what can you bring to this school? They say the school is to shape your life. Not here. Hau'oli is the place where you shape others, as the eccentric happenings are bound to leave marks on you. How will you leave your mark on it?

        Welcome to the best four years of your life, pal. Or probably the worst.

This is a laid-back alternate university AU taking place in none other than Alola! All muses are allowed as long as there’s a pkmn verse! We hope y’all have fun here!

The snarl wrenches itself from her throat before she can think to stop it. It takes her a moment to collect herself.

She stands firm though, as she looks at her mother.

After Mohn’s disappearance, Lillie constantly questions whoever she can about the whereabouts of her father or when he’s coming home. She quickly learns not to bother Lusamine with the questions, but Faba, Wicke and Gladion are barraged with them.

By the time the gen 7 games start, she tries not to think about it, but she does still have memories of his smiling face, of his interest in Pokemon and his spending time with her. They’re memories she thinks of once in a blue moon, but ones that just as quickly are quashed thanks to the ache in her chest that his absence has created. 

Anger begins to bubble up after the events of the gen 7 games after she’s seen just how unhinged Lusamine became. Angry outbursts about him are aimed at Lusamine and Gladion. “How could he?” “Why wasn’t he more careful?” etc.

When she reaches the age of 16, what memories remain of Mohn have all but completely turned into anger. She doesn’t want to think of him, keeps no photos of him, or folds him out of the photo.

By the time she’s in her 20s, and she opens her clinic, she has no memories left of Mohn. The only father figure she speaks of is Kukui, with Hala as a grandfather figure. If Mohn is brought up as her father, she’ll shrug to acknowledge it and mention how he left the family to study Ultra Beasts, and how reckless and careless it was for him to do so.

Bonus (since my primary verse is USUM based):

After Mohn tours Aether Paradise, Lillie is enraged that she didn’t know he was there. She feels that maybe seeing she and Gladion would have triggered something in him, and not just their mother. She feels that it was a wasted opportunity and this is what begins to fuel her anger toward him.
