She was right.

Milou never was one for being sensitive but that was the appeal. She said what she thought and didn't give two shits if it was taken the wrong way. It made her a good friend and someone she was proud to bash the skulls in of demons, gnolls and assholes alike. But still...

Oh come on, it will be fun. Someone told him. It would be good to give the children of Mondstadt something fun and innocent to do this evening. Someone else pointed out. It would never hurt to offer the kids candied grapes while some of their parents indulged in more mature uses of grapes. One final person mentioned.

So unsurprisingly he gave in and while it had been busy for sure, he still had more than enough bags of candied grapes to hand out and not quite sure what to do with them.

So when Xue came along at the end of the evening he had to genuinely consider whether or not he would get away with giving this boy half of the remaining bags or not. He ultimately gave the boy five before saying, "don't tell Isolde I did this."

He wasn't sure if she was trying to stoke his pride or not, but he swore there was a certain degree of approval. Sure he may have been looking for something that may not have been there in the first place but he didn't care.

If it sounded like approval he could and would take it like a starving man being thrown in front of a banquet.

"I thought that was how you liked me." He asked, coming up to her. His steps swift and confident even as he grabbed her, then through her hard enough that he feet left the ground by a few inches before catching her in his arms once again. "Like a beast that lives for conquest."
