Aesthetics Of Animation

Hello people, I know this isn't art related but my mum and some of her colleagues are running Race 4 Life, in support of a dear friend who has cancer. In terms of working in groups the course is brilliant, there will be group tasks in each year, and every time you will produce a final animation piece. For example in the beginning of second year you do a group project to create a baseball animation and then in the third year your whole project is to work as a team of around 4 to 5 people to produce a 2-4 minute animation for final film which shall take you the whole year. In the first two years there are multiple trips planned for you guys and will always be out and about also the tutors do advise you to go on your own little trips to draw which I have done numerous times with other students. Hope that helps a bit.

Which Bournemouth you applying to, the Arts University in Bournemouth or just main Bournemouth university??? Portfolio requirements can range greatly, a strong point that tutors will look at is life drawing as this can inform all your other forms of drawing. From character design through to animation itself. I can give more advice so message again if you wish.

This is a question I didn't even need to think about for an answer. I would certainly recommend the course to anyone who is interested in animation. It is one of the best in Europe for 2D animation in my opinion, the opportunities you get throughout are amazing, and the skills you will learn are incredible. When I first joined the course I wasn't sure what i wanted to do animation wise, whether it was 2D, 3D or stop motion but you get the chance to try all these mediums and more, and now I have found what i want to do for a career in effects/ VFX animation. If its anything like my times has been here you will meet some of the greatest people and friends you will ever have. I could go on more, so if you do want to ask questions fire away I'm here to help. But this is the best way I think I can sum up my feelings towards the course, so here goes. I am a third year and the course ends for me in June next year, and guess what I never want it to end and want to be able to redo the whole course again, this was the best part of my education ever.Hope that sorta helps, but as I said feel free to ask me more questions. 

Another short animation test, this was a brief 2D test for a shot that I will be doing on a 3D film which is off an orb exploding with light. This was done a week ago and have done much more for it since then but its getting to the point where I cant show you I am afraid :D
