Week 24. I got feedback from my beta reader and I’m going through it otherwise not much to report.

The Valyrian Court's Between Us:

"The Wrong Door"

Fenrir found the wrong door at exactly the wrong time.

He'd taken this route a dozen times—down through the old scullery stairs, past the tapestry that smelled like dust and centuries, left at the statue of some long-dead Valyrian with an unfortunate nose. Left. It was always left.

Tonight his mind had been somewhere else—on the border reports, on the dead livestock and the strange clawed footprints nobody wanted to name out loud—and his feet had turned right instead. He realized his mistake exactly three seconds before the torchlight did.

"Halt." A guard, young, unfamiliar, spear already dropping level. "State your—"

Fenrir didn't wait to hear the rest. He turned on his heel and walked, fast and unbothered, the particular unbothered walk of a man who has never once needed to explain himself to anyone. It worked on soldiers. It worked on nobles. It did not, unfortunately, work on a guard who hadn't yet learned that the best warrior in all of Blackpine typically didn't prowl the east wing at two in the morning in civilian dress. "General Korvus?" Footsteps behind him now, quicker.

A hand closed around his wrist and yanked him sideways into black nothing—a servant's alcove, barely wide enough for one body, now very insistently occupied by two.

Week 21 I’ve been working on add the final touches to “Blood and Moonlight” getting it ready to publish. I’ve also been working on the first book in another series, I might publish a couple months after. I just need more time to plan out when and how I’m gonna do it, but hopefully I learn more from the experience of publishing “Blood and Moonlight.” That’s all folks, have a great week!

Week 20. Honestly I’m having a lot of fun with this new series I’m writing, it gives me a good blank canvas to write a lot of fight scenes, which I’m discovering my love for. Anyway, that’s all folks, i don’t have much more to report, so have a good week y’all, peace and love!

Week 18. I’m a masochist for a good tragedy, I’m not saying I’ll start writing one today, but i am gonna start brainstorming. I’m finishing up the last book of “The Valyrian Court” series, and while, yes I’ve been working on a few projects in the background, I have the urge to write a devastating tragedy soon. Week 17. I’ve moved on to finishing up book 5 of “The Valyrian Court” series, so far looking good, although I’m probably going to change the ending slightly.
