Summary:

A year can change everyone. Well, not every single of people in the World. Sure there will be places that will grow bigger than before. Animals to flock more and love blooms in the air.

But a year can make them come home, find themselves something they didn't expected and something that is connecting. Love can grow bigger, yet the one whose relations will tastes bitter than before.

It's a story of a love between three found in the most unexpected places, with a lot of gay feelings, and the harsh truth of one's relations.

Stella came in with a plan, a plan that meant giving away the one thing that had been her home.

Stella blew out a frosty air as she hugged herself. The snow biome’s weather came, she observes, the world’s sure cold and quiet today. 

“It is beautiful?” Stella turn around a woman with scars across her face, her bangs tucked under a soft beanie with a single braiding hanging over her left shoulder. That woman was wearing a little thicker coat than Stella who was clothed in a dozen of clothes because she’s very cold and yes, she hates the cold as much as she hate the heat. 

Stella huffs, her arms still crossed as she reply with a scoff, “Not when it’s too quiet.”

“It’s only ten in the evening.”

“Still quiet today, Jessie.” She sassed and the brunette giggles. Stella look up and watches the darkness in the sky. She can see a dozen stars twinkling tonight. 

Stella can feel Jessie approaches and stand next to her. 

“But why are you out in a cold night, Stella?” Stella turn to look at Jessie’s curiosity.

“Just...” She trailed off, then shrug as the only answer she gives. 

Jessie watches the blonde look away and her eyes staring at somewhere...

Breathe in. Hands gripped on the wheel. Breath out. Just because summer’s over meant meeting him again, schoolwork all over again, and let the pretend begins.

Just One. More. Year. And you’re done with high school. 

Stella Albert was doing a breathing exercise in her Beetle. She release her hands from the wheel and lean back against the headrest. She looked out to see the school building. 

She sighs, and gather her things as she leaves her car. She only just locked her Beetle when she flinched at the too familiar voice behind her. 

“Princess!” 

She relaxes herself in a quick as she throws a perfect smile as a young man, her age, approaches her. He was tall, a slight lanky, and a little pale with perfect redhead. (Stella can see he was working on his tiny goatee at last.) But he’s handsome, and any girl and boy would love to date him.

Too bad. He is her boyfriend. 

“Hey Romeo,” Stella greets, “What are you doing here?”

More like, why are you here and not inside the school? 

He blinks. He tilts his head as he sling his arm over her shoulder as he pouts, “Do you miss me? We haven’t seen each other in the last two months!” 

That’s because you spend going to Venice without me. But Stella doesn’t tell him and continue to smile. They were near the school entrance when Stella look at the corner of her eyes. A hurrying figure was passing by, and she catches the familiar red streak of that person and then that person crashes into the back of a jock. 

Stella can’t help but watches the jock get surprised but laughed when she notice it was her and they hugged.

“Ah,” She glances at Romeo who was strangely leaning on her, his voice a steering tone, “The Dorky Couple.”
