I was always a fan of Yellowstone,” he said. “Then that bloody show came along and ruined it.” he rolled his eyes and then smiled slightly at the young woman. “You’ll have to give me a tour of the parks sometime, I’d love to see an alligator. I mean, I’ve seen Alligator before, but it would be nice to see a living one,” he commented as he rubbed his chin thoughtfully. “Sorry, I don’t mean to take up all of your day, where were you heading? Perhaps we can walk together?” he offered. “I was heading to the fresh market to see if there was anything I could make into a special for tonight’s dinner service at my restaurant.”

"I was taking a break from work for a time when "the announcement" happened. When I came out as having been a supernatural the mayor reached out to me. She said she was making a place where all supernatural people would be welcome and safe, and she wanted a ah- a public figure of sorts to come to Saintes and help make it a tourist destination. So here I am." he finished before slipping his hands into his pockets. "And yourself? What brought you down here from Nevada?"

@chefxrowland "No harm done," he said as he helped right the woman. "How about you, any harm done? Or do you think you'll survive?" he questioned as he looked her over. She looked perfectly sound. "And where is that?" he asked curiously. Judging by her accent she was a United States Native, not East Coast, maybe the west coast from the way she spoke. There was something interesting about the way people on the West Coast enunciated some words and clipped others, but it was nothing compared to the elongating of words down here in the south. Leave it to these Americans to find ways to distort the King's English. But technically he was an American now. "Cobblestones are very common in England," he explained. "Of course we don't have big willow trees," he gestured to the offending tree whose roots had pushed up the offending brick. "I mean, we do, but not on the street like this." he added. "You'll get used to it."
