“I don’t think there’s anything wrong with being friends with the werewolves.”

“Maybe no, but I don’t think that is going to be gossip you want to be at the center of.”

“Is there something wrong with werewolves?”

“You’d be surprised what bored old supernaturals will gossip about.”

“Trust me, I know. It won’t be as bad as when I first started to see Roxanne.”

“Careful Adrian, with words like that gossip will go around you have a crush on a werewolf or something.”

“I think people have better things on me to gossip about.”

“I think you’re just flattering me, but thank you anyways.”

“Maybe, but it’s true. I would rather spend the night with you over anyone else. And you’re welcome.”

“You’re giving me too much credit, Adrian.”

“I’m not wrong. You are the best dance partner I had tonight.”

“I doubt that. But we shall see.”

“Oh the plus side, we won’t be as bad at dancing as anyone else at this party.”

“Of course I will. As long as you don’t mind I am a tad rusty.”

“Are you kidding? I’ll be worse than you.”

“It’s not intruding if I insist.”

“Alright, but only if you dance with me.”

“You’re here alone? That’s not acceptable. Now you’re stuck with me for a while.”

“Dahlia I’m not going to intrude on your evening.”

“Are you here with Roxanne?”

“I’m sure Roxanne is here, off with her own group of friends. I didn’t ask if she was.”

“Oh no, that second room is not my scene. In fact none of this is really my scene. And I’ve got enough old supernaturals hitting on me in this room, don’t need some drunk youngsters adding on.”

“Trust me, the other room is not fun. I have enough experience with Roxanne.”

“Not really. Haven’t had a chance to dance with anyone that wasn’t awful.”

“Oh yeah? You didn’t go to that second room, did you?”

“She’s too full of herself for that.”

“Good point. Having any fun tonight?”

“You would think Sophia would catch on by now that her parties are boring.”
