It wasn’t unusual for the owner to find himself behind the bar tending to patrons while his fellow bartenders did the same. The night was particularly busy, most fans caught up in the big game for the Panthers. Even Henry found himself glancing towards the screens all around from time to time, but the sting of not being there left him more than willing to focus on serving. “I take it that you aren’t the biggest sports fan?” He noticed someone near the end of the bar being one of the only people who wasn’t glued to a TV. “Can I get you another?” He wasn’t sure what they were drinking, but their glass looked empty enough for a refill and he needed the distraction. “Believe it or not, I’d rather hang out over here than get caught up another conversation about the glory days.” Everyone wanted their shot at talking to a retired Panther, but he just wasn't in the mood for playing overly nice. That, and he still wasn’t ready to talk about his choice of retirement.

Looking up at the interruption, Adri couldn't help but notice how tall and strikingly handsome he was. The fact, however trivial, made her blush. "Let me guess... not a big fan of the game either?" If that were the case, why not just ask the boss to switch to something else? It couldn't be the only sport playing right now.

ELLE bit her lip, turning around a few times as her eyes wander the large metal shelves. She was searching for some sign or indication of what aisle she was in but the hodgepodge of items around her did little to give her a sense of place. “Oh boy,” She breathed and ran a hand through her hair, letting out a huge rush of air. How did she even end up in this store to begin with? How does someone accidentally get lost in a Costco? Elle wasn’t even a member–but the membership checker at the front of the store must have taken pity on her for needing to use the bathroom and let her in. Which was sure kind of him–except that…well, now she wasn’t sure how to get out. “Oof,” Her body collided with someone else’s in her distracted state and she felt her cheeks flush red. “I–I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to run into you.” She rushed to get her apology out. “I’m trying to figure out where I am and it seems I wasn’t paying attention. I’m–you’re not hurt are you?”

The line for the Ferris wheel was long and Stella was tired of waiting under the sun. When she noticed a guy in the express line, she approached him and swiped his pass with the distraction of a kiss. By the time he noticed, it was too late. She was already sprinting ahead but stopped when she spotted a familiar face. "Wanna go on the Ferris wheel with me? I got the golden ticket, Wonka. No wait time."
