It’s okay, I prefer people who have some balls and you sure do. It’s a good thing. Well you should get settled in just fine then. The murderers are more antisocial than dangerous and rude. They might tell you to fuck off, but they are not that bad. I’m friends with one and she’s fine. Well he made it sound like I was violent and uncontrollable and he’s still kinda recovering from the head trauma. And of course I didn’t quite ace the psychological evaluation in court, so. Yeah, but I still would have hit him. You don’t joke about rape, ever.

Well if that's all it takes than you and I should be best friends. Real. y? I thought they would be more, I don't really know actually. With my attitude I can get a nun to tell me to fuck off so that's no biggie. Shitty deal lead you here. Some people don't know shit like that's a no no, or their morals are just fucked. Well thank you, I guess. I still have to apologize for coming off as rude. I mean, everyone gets homesick and bored but there’s nothing we can do about it. I swear the crazies are not that bad, you might have to let a few things they say and do slide. But you just have to make friends in here and most people are really nice. Thank you for agreeing on that. Of course he said it was just a joke and I overreacted.

Yeah, well I wasn't little miss nice either, it's fine man. Forget it. Boredom won't be an issue with me. I swear I could get lost in my head for days and be fine. See now that makes me sound like I fit in. Most including the murderers? No problem. Wait, the guy said it was a joke and you got sent away for overreacting? You'd have known if it was a joke right? 

No I don’t, it’s the place. Every mention of boredom and homesickness and all that turns into whining, because that’s what people whine about usually. There’s really nothing we can do about it, the whining is just annoying. You should, it gets you settled in a lot faster. And really you need to get to know other people to be able to handle this place. Yeah, I don’t blame you. But anyway I bashed his head in and got arrested for an assault. I don’t really know what I did wrong, it was self-defense.

Well I guess for your benefit, I'll watch what I say when you're in ear shot. Not a damned thing, unfortunately. Settle in by gettin to know the crazy ones, sounds strange. Then again this whole situation is strange. Self defense or not, the asshole deserved it. -she looks away for a second- Rapists, pedophiles, they all deserve it.

It came out more as whining. But to be honest I wouldn’t blame you for feeling stir crazy, but give it a few months. All the walls start to look the same. The place is pretty boring actually. I don’t know, because you really can’t get worked up over everything that happens here. You’re just going to go crazy. Even if there’s people screaming you just have to suck it up. But I’d say the not caring still is worse. Well I have PTSD and a really low tolerance for rapists.

You need your ears checked then. I just got off a tour that found us in a new city nearly every day, so it's just a bit of a shock to the system to be in one place, one building for more than a few hours, ya know? Boring or not, I guess I could walk around and view all the crazies? That makes two of us, the low tolerance for rapists I mean. 

I’m saying I’m not being mean now. Didn’t you just whine about going stir crazy because you can’t stay long in one place? The thing with this place is that be here long enough and you get used to everything. I mean the schizophrenics can scream their head off in the middle of the night and you won’t even blink anymore. Either it stops being unpleasant or you just don’t care anymore.

Wasn't so much of whining more like stating a fact. Hell I am going stir crazy, but that's hardly whining. Guess you're right though, bound to get desensitized to the crazy. Which is worse, not caring or just not noticing? And speaking of crazy, what brand of crazy are you?
