kami nodded, smiling.  she loved the time she spent rerecording her old albums.  it really helped her see her own evolution of her music and readjust to everything she was going through.  “i know.  people have really liked the stuff i’ve put out so far.  i’m still considering adding kameron as a bonus track because of the response to it.”  

      a  grin  pulls  onto  his  lips,  blushing  softly  at  the  compliment.  “funny,  the  only  pretty  boy  here  is  you.”   noel  nods,  “good.  yeah,  decompressing. the  set  was  crazy,  i’m  still  a  little  tired.”  iridescence's  set  had   been  the  perfect  excuse  to  distract  himself  from  everything  pouring  his  absolute  heart  and  soul  into  it  all.  bashful,  noel  shrugs  his  shoulders.  “ i  don’t  know..”  he’d  been  so  confident  around  adore  before  their  kiss.  now,  things  felt  a  little  different.  sober  or  not,  it  happened.  and  suddenly  their  usual  back  and  forth  isn’t  the  fun  and  games  it  used  to  be. “i  wasn’t  sure  if  you’d  want  to  hear  from  me  after  everything.”  he  explains.

      despite  having  only  just  gotten  back  home,  noel  wanted  to  get  out  of  the  house  and  as  far  away  from  the  studio  as  possible.  writer’s  block,  and  probably  the  worse  he’s  ever  experienced.   he  flips  through  rows  and  rows  of  records,  chewing  his  lower  lip.  he  needed  something  to  spark  inspiration,  anything.  noel’s  never  been  the  smoothest,  by  any  means.  the  minute  he  looked  up  and  locked  eyes  with  adore,  he  tripped  over  his  own  two  feet.  “ adore ! hey,”  he’s  actually  glad  to  see  him.  the  chaos  of  the  festival,  he  hadn’t  had  a  chance  to  see  him.  he  smiles,  “ how’ve  you  been,  handsome?  i  thought  about  calling  you  but,”  he  didn’t  want to  make  things  weirder  than  they  had  to  be.  but,  noel  decides  not  to  say  that, his  voice   trailing  off. 

kami shrugged her shoulders, “i mean, i think i could.  the success of the rerecordings was brilliant.”  she said with a shrug as she took a bite of her food.  they’d blown up and gone viral when she released those.  “but i’m worried about new music, you know?  like, what if people don’t like the new stuff i’ve been working on as much as my old music?”  it was a big insecurity for her since it had been so long since she was in mainstream media with new music.

“explain to me why i agreed to my album being released at the end of this month?  because the whole thing is done and it’s killing me to not leak everything.”  kami said it with a laugh as she moved around her kitchen to get the food she’d ordered for lunch onto plates for her and adore.  “it’s just so annoying.  but i guess it’s better to wait than to rush things and risk it not turning out how i want them to?”  she questioned, pushing a plate in his direction as she sat down in a chair.
