parker: props on the album. been listening to it while i go a few rounds with the bag at the gym

         it was a simple dinner out, really. his parents were in town, simply coming in because they were bored and it had been a while since they’ve last seen jess (only a few months, christmas wasn’t that long ago, after all.) they were talking among themselves, a huge meal that he was treating them too with whatever their hearts had desired - no matter the price, he really didn’t care. he had looked away from the two of them as they spoke to each other about something and that’s when it happened. he locks eyes with someone he hadn’t spoken to in five years, someone who was the reason why he never fell in love because he was still stupidly in love with them. he could feel his heart skip a beat and then sink, before he’s kind of awkwardly looking away from kami. what’s a boy to do?

     ━━  “  when are we gonna meet up to write again ?? swear we gotta work on somethin’ . ‘s been a minute , and all of this , the concerts and all , ‘t just makes me wanna write music to perform really . ” iván is sure she gets what he means . after all they both share the same love for music , remembers the day he found her original stuff on soundcloud , long before he’d made his debut as a singer .  “ was thinkin’ maybe mix both languages ?? it’d cater a larger audience i think . been working on something anyways , i could send it your way ?? ” iván places empty cup down , gaze flickering to the main stage as the audience cheered for a moment , his hues wandering back to fall upon cherubic features seconds later . “  how have you been anyways ?? feel like i’ve been living under a rock since i downloaded tiktok really . shit’s more addictive than vine .  ”
