oh what a world

perhaps even more excitingly, this friday will mark the opening of the GROVEKEY AQUARIUM which out school board is proud to have contributed significantly to the campaign to open it. you are all invited to the opening on friday and we hope to see as many of you there as possible.

and last but certainly not least, we’ve heard your demands and we’ve listened. you may have noticed some building work where the old swimming pool used to be and i can confirm that as of tomorrow the DEVEREUX MART will be open for business. this will be our new on campus shop selling devereux hoodies, jackets, hats and so on as well as groceries, toiletries and some bdsm basics if you can’t make it to town. it is also the place to advertise any services you might be providing if the noticeboard isn’t doing it for you. anyone looking for a part time job, they are hiring both daytime and night time part time clerks as the store will be open 24 hours!!! thank you cards will be accepted to my mail box :)

I hope that you’re all looking forward to our upcoming trip to Mexico, for the trip the school has fully booked out the Brick Hotel in Mexico City (x) which will be our base for the entire trip. Rooms run from 2-4, and while you may choose your own room assignments there must be at least one dominant party to each rooming assignment whether this be a switch who is acting dominant or a regular dominant party. This Dominant party will be expected to make sure that everyone in their room is acting accordingly. 

All meals can be provided at the hotel with a buffet breakfast from 7-10am, lunch served from a limited menu 12-12, and dinner from 7-9. If you are on a school run activity you will either be brought back to the hotel for lunch or a packed lunch will be provided, however you are welcome to buy you own meals.

While students are given the right to roam within the city during the day you must be back at the hotel by 2am and there will be a headcount done every evening to ensure this.  The usual rules surrounding escorts apply on this trip. Anyone caught breaking curfew or leaving the city on anything other than a school mandated trip will be severely punished. While alcohol is permitted, usual school policies around public intoxication, drug taking and fighting apply. While on this trip you are representing the school and must act accordingly.

Monday 26th of July: Arrival in the city at 10am, mandatory welcome talk and guided tour of the city is offered, with options for historic sights or food tasting in the afternoon. During this tour you will be shown important places to know while on the trip, and informed of any local laws to be aware of. 

Tuesday 27th of July: Trip to Chapultepec Zoo or to Six Flags Mexico

Wednesday 28th of July: Students have the option of going to the Frida Kahlo museum or heading out on a school provided bus to the Floating Gardens of Xochimilco

Thursday 29th of July: Private tour of the Chapultepec Castle & National Museum of Anthropology

Friday 30th of July: Mandatory day trip to the cities of Cholula and Puebla to visit sights such as  Great Pyramid of Cholula, the temple Santa María Tonantzintla, and Biblioteca Palafoxiana. There will also be a trip portrait taken this day

Saturday 31st of July: Day Trip to Cacahuamilpa Caves and Taxco or to Tecolutla beach

Sunday 1st of August: Morning trip to Coyoacan Market and then flight home to school in the evening.
