a thin layer, a soft wind

would have crumbled my house of cards

exposing and eroding

a deep well

an untouched oasis

a delusion of my soul

what ifs fade away

a day is a new day

this is divergence

silence brings violence

An easy ember to reignite A warm glow, like a sunset Soft like the clouds holding in the light Cherishing its escaping nature

That’s how I imagine you now A purple deep as the ocean But mixed with the color of the sky Over the sea, kissing its horizon

Your energy is felt Or maybe i’m just imagining all this Creating false realities in my head Reading far too deep

History creates context We see that in each other A way no one new can Events, feelings, smoke all rising above

I crave a feeling that may not exist A wave sent out into the sky A beam that lights the ground on fire But burning cool at our feet
