When I am thinner, I'll look as badass as hell at work. Tuck my shirt in to my highwaisted trousers, fitted blazers, pencil skirt, and wrap dresses. I will command the room. I will be respected.
I try to use the restroom on the main floor so that I have to climb 4 flights to get back to my desk. It adds up after a while.
Reasons to be Skinny
Like. All of the other posts I’ve seen like this are for young girls. About crushes and parents and school. What about the 30something professional, married with kids? We have disordered eating, too.
My reasons: 1 Thin women are taken more seriously in the work place. 2 Sex will be easier and better. 3 Not buying food saves money that can be put into savings. 4 Cutting out carbs, caffeine, alcohol, and dairy will improve my skin. 5 Not having to buy frumpy business clothes so that I actually look like a professional. 6 More confidence for business meetings and community engagements. 7 Being excited to go shopping for clothes instead of having anxiety. 8 Having confidence to visit my husband at his work; having him show me off because he is so proud to have such a hot wife. 9 Make my sister’s jealous. 10 Make it easier to manage my PCOS.
