Adobe Muse - Web Design without coding. Recently there has been a big boom in websites that allow users to create their own website, unfortunately there are some major limitations to these websites and they often feel like a huge cash grab. This is where a web designer comes into play. Now most of the time graphic designers are often mistaken to be web designers, and that isn’t always true. Our head designer HATES coding, so for a long time it seemed mundane to have to make a website. However, recently an amazing tool came out, Adobe Muse. Adobe Muse still allows for the same aspects of Dreamweaver but now you’re not forced to code in paths and other elements. You have the ability to focus solely on design, including being able to transfer your PSD templates and working from that. All-in-all the most unique tool we’ve had the pleasure of using and we highly recommend it for any graphic designer looking for a more efficient way to design a website.

So we're working on the CLXXD website and pretty confident with the design choices we made. Here you can see a little snippet of an unfinished page of the website. We went with a simple, modern design but that doesn't make it limited. A major part of the website's design structure is giving a free flowing feel to mimic the shapelessness of clouds. A good example was adding this abstract image frame into the About page. Once it's all together you'll notice how well it fits but regardless of the modern style(a lot of modern designs stick with clean cut shapes and such) we were able to make it work. Just a little something we thought was interesting. Regardless of style you can always make things work, as a designer it's your job to capture the feel of your clients and sometimes you've got to think outside the box.
