Tell Me What To Swallow

Heres to 2016 being a better year than 2015.. Ive been bashed, lied to, talked about, attacked, held at gun point, had my families lives threatened, almost had my front door kicked in, had my life threatened numerous times, had police knock on my door at 2am looking for me. had my car written off, had my possessions stolen, and lost people dear to me. And you know through all of this my “best friends” didn’t hugely care, out of sight out of mind. My true mates have shown their colours and i know who they are, they have helped me through the hardest time of my life and i can never repay them, but I am unbelievably grateful for their help. All i wanted to do was get my friends back because they understandably turned their back, i worked all fucking year to go back to how things were. I guess i realised that your friends are there for you no matter what the circumstance, they will always make time to make sure youre okay, and they will be happy when you start doing well and getting your life back on track. So here i am on the first day of 2016, without the people i called my best friends in 2014, i thought they would always be there. But hey ive come to terms with the fact that i spent 2015 trying to get my life back on track and get my friends back in vain. That rollercoaster ride that was 2015, is over, but what a hell of a ride, which has bought me to the people who were sitting next to me when i was at rock bottom, who never once left my side to help me through, who knew i wasn’t doing well but stayed by my side, and became my strength. And even though 2015 was fucked up, im thankful for the people who know rock bottom, and who suffered right next to me to get me out of that hole.
