i literally just wanted to post about the very same thing. the more i think about it, the more i realize how brilliant this music video is. the interactions with the second lukas seem so forced and unnatural. when i saw the video for the first time, i thought they just wanted to make a silly video just for fun. the positive energy confused me because i didnt think it matched the seriousness of the song, but it‘s actually so fucking genius. there is sooo much hidden meaning behind the double.
SAMEE i didn't even notice the double on first watch😭 i respect lukas a lot for not revealing the meaning of his songs and music videos but i'm dying to know what he wanted to convey here. like is it about the pressure from industry or fans. or more of a personal conflict when you are afraid to betray yourself by feeling too much joy
