you know, the older i get, the more i hate cynicism. isn’t it exhausting to always be so bitter about everything? why don’t you try a little genuine kindness and understanding and maybe you’ll calm down

am tired of seeing people being called "fake" for being nice. most of the people I've seen get this are genuinely lovely people. I don't get it, would you rather they act like an asshole????? not everyone who's nice has a motive behind it, just saying, some people are nice for the sake of being nice 💁🏻‍♀️

in the past several months, i have been seeing a lot of misinformation about the ethnicity of camila mendes. her ethnicelebs page originally assumed she was white brazilian (portuguese and italian) based on her parents’ surnames, but that was NOT accurate, and since then, it has been changed to say that she is brazilian (indigenous, portuguese, italian, possibly other). she is actually pardo brazilian, so please, please stop saying that she is white and playing her as white. camila has spoken out a lot in the past that she is proud to be brazilian and latina, and it would be wrong of us to erase that part of her. if it’s not too much trouble, i would really appreciate it if you spread the word and reblog this post so everyone knows! thank you.

if you’re offline or away and i message you something (like a link to a meme or a picture or w/e) honestly just assume that i’m just leaving it there for when you get back and not expecting you to answer straight away. i don’t need you to respond with “hey, sorry, i wasn’t at the computer!” or anything. i was leaving u a gift for later.

This also applies if you’re online and just don’t want to or have the energy to deal with humans in the moment. Just because we have the ability to reply in real time does not mean we have the obligation.
