its kind of interesting to see the contrast between 1st year sano's interactions and ebisu's interactions with hatanaka. makes me wonder how much of the difference is influenced by the fact that ebihata are colleagues, hatanaka is sano’s teacher and therefore wants to act like a proper one trying to call him out for skipping class. something about sano’s (in my opinion) possible slight issues with traditional male authority figures vs ebisu's subconscious tendency to gravitate toward older brother type of people

For once, I didn't worry about my art being bland because my fingers were just itching to work on the piece. When I finally finished I felt really proud. Even tho I didn't win, it felt like huge progress compared to before. So in short, I rediscovered my passion for drawing thanks to Yohaji. You can even tell the piece I made for the contest was heavily inspired by it if you look at the background and clothes. (The picture of my art for the contest is the picture above this essay)
