No, bands do not change their styles. I know so many good bands which didn’t change their style from the start and they still make albums full of original songs which have original music and lyrics. I didn’t mean same melodies and similar lyrics when I said “same style”. Someone said the exact thing that you said when Payphone released. Then Overexposed happened. And I’m afraid there’s going to be an another one like it. I hope you’re right about this one. I’m also hoping this song is different from the rest of the album. But either way you and others can keep loving Maroon 5 in every style but I don’t have to. I don’t like pop music, I find it shallow. So, I’m waiting for “V”

I don’t like it. It’s like Overexposed all over again. They said it will be different, it will be like Songs About Jane again. I believe that every good band has its own unique style of music. I don’t like labeling music like indie, pop, electronic etc. Maroon 5 used to had its own style but no more. It’s a pop band now. It could be such a good song without all that computer-aided crap. We lost our Maroon 5. Now, I’m waiting for the new album. If it’s like Overexposed, it’s going to be the end of my relationship with M5. Maroon 5 will no longer be my favorite band. 

I don't like the new single at all. Am I alone?
