AAAHHH!! IM SO EXCITED!! I received another scholarship for Sage! I can not wait at all!!! Im very happy to be attending Sage next year with all of the amazing people that I’ve been working with and I’m going to be saving gajillions of dollars with these scholarships!! Im so grateful that I received them, and I’m excited to branch off into adulthood here!! I'm definitely going to miss my girls since they're all traveling away (save for Katy) and Madi is going far away and Viv might be too and Im not ready to let these girls go yet, yknow?

Look at our fun combat video!! We decided to work with film fighting for the last few days of combat and it is certainly fun to learn about... I love our goofy video we created together and hope we can all meet up again in the future and do goofy things like this. Film combat is far more different than stage combat and definitely a new experience!

Wow I suck at pictures!!! Look at my favorite girls!! This picture was in production hours with Spencer, and I couldn't help because I accidentally wore open-toed shoes...so I sorted screws. To be fair, the schedule said costume shop for production hours! I also got to climb in a box for some reason? That was fun and eventful?? I think?? I don't know but I was having the time of my life in that box. I harp on this a lot but little goofy memories are my favorite and Im so grateful for these blogs so that we all can document them... That's it!

Happy Pride Month! Im so excited for Pride Month this year because Im able to partake in the activities! My best friend also surprised me and came to see Backbeard!! I'm very happy that she made time to come see it!! I really don't want this show to end literally ever I just want to loop it forever! I'm just so used to the cycle of getting ready for the show that I can feel the post show depression looming and waiting to take over...

Backbeard is still running!! I love this show so much I don't want it to end at all!! I've made crazy amazing friends in this show and I feel so much closer to the actors than I ever have! Although Backbeard is my favorite thing from the internship, I'm very excited to be able to enjoy summer and relax! I have a series of fun events planned this summer with all of my friends before we all scatter to the winds and go off to better places than Little Old Rensselaer... Not much has been going on during production hours, and I don't really have pictures from production hours but above is all of my wonderful costumes and playbill!!

I saw Madi's show Little Shop! I went to the dress rehearsal on Thursday and had so much fun I had to go again!! Andrew drove me in after I got out of Backbeard rehearsal on Saturday and hung out with the cast from 5 until around 6 when they got to business with preshow prep! Needless to say, I had the time of my life hanging out there! The show was honestly so fantastic and the cast did a great job with the show! The energy was totally there, and by god were there so many funny moments! Madi taped off seats for Katy, Nate, his friend, myself, and my friend Autumn! It was totally so great watching Madi run around doing stage manager things, and I'm hella proud of her! (Luv u madi) I met a super great guy there, but I won't dwell on that because it's not Sage (and I'll probably be here for hours rambling, sorry intern pals, I'll gush later), but yeah. I met a guy thanks to Madi. That's totally exciting and I can't wait to see where this new adventure goes!

I got new fishies!!! Im so happy that I have my very own fish babies to care for!! I'll admit, I was very jealous that Shaylee has fish, so I got my own!! They are Zebra Danios, and I love them very much!! The yellow and black fish is named Negasonic Teenage Warhead, after the character from Deadpool, and the blue one is named Wade Wilson like Deadpool's real name. I'm just happy I have new babies to care for on top of my kitty, and my dog! Speaking of my dog, look at her!! Shes such a sweetie, and fell asleep on me during our "movie night"😊 To elaborate, some nights I make popcorn and we watch a different dog or Disney movie together, and we cuddle and eat popcorn!! (And I guess we let my little sister watch them too😁) I love having snuggle nights with my dog and sister because I am always sooo busy I never have time to lay down and just cuddle her, or in a human's case, catch up with how she's doing with school and friends! This is almost a filler post because there isn't a lot going on at Sage right now?? So enjoy looking at my new pets and my dog!!!!

Backbeard stuff!!! We're working on Backbeard finally and I am beyond excited and happy to be working on it now! These are just a few pictures I took while they hung their stuff. I wasn't as useful there because I dislike ladders, so I figured I would take blog pictures?? Pictured above, you will see the interns hanging the curtain that goes in the center!! It was fun getting used to in rehearsal, too! Speaking of rehearsals I am honestly having a lot of fun working with my friends here!!! I can't wait until the whole show pulls together and we start runs!! I can't think of anything else to include in this particular post, so I'll end it here😁 Until the next post!!

Prom!!! So prom happened! It started in the morning with a senior breakfast and a showing of High School Musical 3: Senior Year, to which the boys protested and the girls insisted upon. The seniors all came bummed out to later surprise each other in our prom getups. It was also the day we planned our Senior Skip Day, of which I am not participating in, as much as I'd like to 😞 It was just really fun sitting in a room with my whole class because I never really have the chance to hang out with my class as a whole now that I'm here. I miss out on a lot of the senior class events because I feel irresponsible when I take days off at Sage. I just worry that my friends will understand that I can't just not show up anymore... Anywho! I borrowed Katy's dress she wore to Sage Formal, because I was pressed for money and time (thanks Kate!💕) It ended up working out really well, and I looked incredible!! We started my hair right after I got out of my senior breakfast at 11:00, and didn't finish until 2:00!! We started curling my hair off to one side to brush them out so they were wavy, and myhair doesn't take to curling irons well, so we were there a while!! So. Much. Hairspray!!! Then I hopped right into makeup which, I'll let you in on a secret: it's the same makeup as my homecoming makeup...(I can only do one thing with makeup well enough to the point I don't have to pay another person to do it for me) Makeup alone took me FOREVER because I don't know how to trim and put on false lashes!! I headed to my high school for prom stroll when I was finished and off to prom I went!! The venue was in Albany at an old bank in State Street, and was so beautiful inside!! But, the thing is, we were supposed to be let in at 7:00, but the venue didn't have our food done yet so we couldn't go into the room where prom was being held, rather, they had us go downstairs to a cool seating area with veggies, fruits, and crackers. And then, like magic, a lady came out with a tray of buffalo chicken wontons...that were gone in seconds. When I say seconds, I MEAN seconds! So a few moments later she returned with more, the same thing happened. The third time I stood in front of where she was setting them down and held my shoe up to get some for myself and my friends, who are too nice to put up a fight...needless to say, I ended up eating 12 of them😅 We were let into the main room where prom was and it began!!! I typically don't dance but since it's the senior's last hurrah, I let loose and danced all night!!! It was really fun being able to dance and hang out with the juniors and seniors of my school, and I'm going to miss them all. They were the kids I grew up with, the people I have the most memories with...and now we're about to graduate and go to colleges far from each other. It's scary. Im terrified of this but being here already is such a sweet and wonderful thing because I know the people I'll be working with and I already have so many friends, but the thought of "What about them?" still looms. I won't dwell on it any longer or else I'll be here all day! Anyways, we went midnight bowling after prom, and I lost horribly! I, simply put, cannot bowl. I had the time of my life, but I can not bowl😂 That's it for right now!!

Pictured above you'll see Katy's wonderful attempt at taking a picture of me at rehearsal (thanks Kate 😂) Backbeard is now in full swing as we're on rehearsal #3!!! I was incredibly worried if I could keep up with the rest of the cast, but I think I'm doing an average job so far?? I was most worried about the choreography because I don't dance well, but it's actually pretty fun and easy!! (Whether or not it looks good is to be determined by someone else😅) The music is super fun to sing, and the choreography is also fun!! I have time to hang out with friends I usually don't have time to hang out with and I'm glad I get the chance to be with them!!

Graduation pictures came in...I personally dont like it... I wasnt able to choose what one I wanted because my Grammy bought them, but oh well, at least I have them? Graduation and prom are coming up fast...Im not sure how to handle all of this stuff that's happening, y'know?? Adulthood is knocking at the door and I don't want to answer just yet...but the time comes for everything and I guess it's time. Im borrowing Katy's dress from Sage formal because money is tight and I don't have anything else to wear. I appreciate her letting me borrow it, and it looks really cute on me!! The other pictures are from the sleepover at my brother Stevie's house!! Our friend Autumn came over and brought us dunkin because she just got off her shift. We played Stranger Things Monopoly and ordered pizza from Domino's, a sleepover tradition at Stevie's house😄 It was nice to spend time with him, because we don't get time to talk or hang out like we used to when we were younger...especially with my hectic Backbeard schedule.

I love nice, long days where all of us interns can sit, relax, and have fun together!! Our schedules changed again, and Im excited to work with the new schedule. Backbeard started, but that’ll be covered in another post!!😁😁

It’s just super nice to reconnect with old friends that you haven’t spoken to in a while and build up a strong relationship with them again.

When the guests started to arrive I had to use the clicker to note how many people came in. I anticipate finishing my community service there, and volunteering there even after I fill in my graduation requirement for community service!
