Drabble Six: I Love You

They met. They tried to fight love. They lost yet it was a battle they were more than a little happy to lose. They wanted to be together, but there was a war to worry about. Wanted nothing to do with the other but what work required. Their words were pity and short, trying to not spend more time than necessary.

Yet somehow in-between all those small grunted and lilting sounds of greeting their sparks reached out and before either could stop it, they found themselves in the others presence. Just there.

The comfort of even silents or complaints made them forget the slag they had been through. Made them forget that they had been in a war and were fairly stranded here. Yet sooner than they liked their little get togethers grew into something more. It wasn’t just meet up here or there by accident, but planned meetings. Dates.

Both realized that being at the top of their command left them little time to be free anymore but they got stuck together enough it wasn’t that big of a deal. Smiles exchanged more often and they hid away their small touches and kisses. It might be as they passed in the hall that their servo’s briefly bumped, or she slipped and he caught her. Small touches full of caring and devotion though neither saw it for a while.

Drabble Five: Workload

Soundwave was doing as he had been told to. his job was to crack this line of coding. It was surprising complicated for something a /human/ child had created. If the child hadn’t joined the /wrong/ side, Soundwave would be intrigued enough to make contact.

As his processor seemed to split up to do different tasks he didn’t notice the new presence near him. Didn’t notice till Megatron moved in front of him. Tilting his helm he let out a small chirp. The sound mixed with his stance gave off his questioning inquiry.

Megatron kneeled down and pulled soundwave to him. Lips meeting the mask Megatron was prepared to leave. He didn’t expect the mask to split and the affection to be turned. The kiss broke to vent and cool off systems. “My lord,” someone rasped and Megatron pulled back. Who-?

“Soundwave?”

“My lord.” The words were repeated and those lips moved again. “Shall I return to work?” Megatron grunted and the mech that followed him to the pit and back gave a small smile before pecking his lord again and moving to continue his work.

Drabble Four: Paints

The party required something different than normal. They had to mark the other as theirs so that if anyone was wanting to mingle, they knew who was off limits. Paints the color of one’s partner were to be applied so that those that are together showed with pride who they were with. Sideswipe swore this new rule was more so that Jazz could paint his mate up. No one disagreed with him.

But as he stood outside the room where the party was just getting started, he frowned and looked away. Servo reaching up to touch his own clean chassis he turned and nearly crashed into someone else. “Sunshine~!” He cheered and hid away his sorrow.

Sunstreaker didn’t smile, didn’t reply other than a grunt.his servo lifted and he began touching his twin’s face, following lines only he could see much to Sideswipes confusion. When his twin finished it was with a finger to his lower lip and he tasted something funny. “Paint…” He trailed off as his face morphed from confusion to understanding. “Paint!” He was so excited, so happy. His twin was claiming him in front of everyone like this.

Sunstreaker lifted a small jar of red paint and Sideswipe submerged his finger quickly. But with just the same amount of carefulness and caution he mimicked what his twin had done. Tracing the same lines and patterns and ending with a fingerprint to the lip. “After the party, I have water colors we can use for a more… intimate painting session~” Sunstreaker purred.

Sideswipe was almost tempted to urge his twin to forsake the party and go home to paint now. Almost~.

Drabble Three: Destined

The mechling was wrapped up and kissed on his helm before something was put into his mouth. Coated with a sleeping agent the pacifier put the sparkling to sleep fast and without a hassle.

“Do we have to?” A femme whispered and the mech next to her nodded.

“He’s destined to see the galaxy, he can not be with us for that.”

She kissed the blue helm again and set the child in his galaxy blanket at someone’s front door. They pinged the mech and left. When the door opened he was greeted with a sleeping child and nothing else. Alpha Trion knelled and cooed at the child he gathered up.

“You poor thing, how could anyone just leave you out there? Don’t worry child, I’ll take care of you and teach you all I know.”

Drabble Two: Presents

Sideswipe had bee pouting. fairly upset he was on lockdown until the whole fraternizing with the enemy thing was worked out. He was not allowed out of his berthroom until all of this was figured out. Him nor the trine. This was to be the new brig because the one that was the actual brig had made the seekers begin to freak out due to sly lust.

The twins had made a small window in their room due to being on the outer edge of the ship and while it didn’t solve the sky lust, it helped.

Sideswipe squawked as something was dumped on him and he looked up confused. Starscream stood above him smirking while TeeCee sat on a berth- almost too small for him- with the smallest of grins as he read.

Lifting a servo, Sides held a ribbon up questionly. The purple cloth was snatched from him and tied to his audio. As he reached up to touch it confused another ribbon- was it pink?- was grabbed and tied to his other was. He couldn’t help but giggle.

Starscream was proud of having made his mate laugh and smile for the first time since they were released from the brig.

Starscream moved to sit on the plush couch. He despised the gaudy off yellow coloring of it. If it had been more of a golden hue he might not have hated it so much- but it was more like… more like a neutral's optics as they laid offlining.

Looking off to the side he let out a soft whine. Skywarp moved to go to him but Thundercracker stopped him. No. This was for Starscream to deal with. Offer support but do not distract or try to fix it. Thundercracker moved over and set a servo on his mate’s shoulder then moved on. He offered comfort if Starscream needed it.

Skywarp quickly pulled the seeker into a hug and pecked his cheek. “It’s alright, Sideswipe knows you didn’t mean to throw him off you. Mega-slagger shot at you and he fell when you rolled away from the shot.”
