Alien Queen

Her eyes sparkled at the present, loving the pink coloring. A wide smile appeared on her face as he congratulated her. Taking the present from him she leans forward and gives him a tight hug. “Oh, you shouldn't have! Thank you so much!” She excitedly thanked him before stepping back. 

She froze a moment when the girl yelled don’t and her eyes went to the money bag. This could be her escape! If the ‘hero’ cared to jump after the money and not her then this could be it! But… She couldn’t let it go. She couldn’t just drop it, she needed that money after all. Maybe she could only drop some of it? Or try to catch it before the hero then run…. No. She wasn’t fast enough for any of those attempts…

“Sure like prostitution.” She replied sarcastically and rolled her eyes. “Do you know how many people are willing to legally hire a 16 year old kid?”

Once again she stopped moving completely. This girl could be all the answers she was looking for. She could be like Ashi, she could take Ashi home and introduce her to her parents. This hero could fix everything and change her entire life around.

Or she could be a liar. She could trying to trick Ashi for one reason or another… This could all be a set up. “Why the hell should I trust you? How do I know you’re not just gonna turn me in or sell me to some freak show?”

She couldn’t blame the girl’s hostility towards her, she seemed like she had been through a lot to make her so cautious to trusting. It didn’t help that Mina was was chasing her with what seemed like her motive was just to give up the money. The harshness in her voice made her flinch a bit, Mina was genuinely intrigued in their predicament but her hero duties came first.

Keeping her posture stiff in case she needed to react fast she took another step towards the girl. “There’s no way to guarentee you can trust me but trust is a two way street. If you put the money down then I can trust you won’t run off with it.” she explained carefully.

   He flinched at her voice, having been a bit too caught up in his mind going over moves and strategies. Perhaps he was a bit too nervous for this, but he couldn’t help it. It had been pretty sudden, and Izuku didn’t exactly have confidence in himself in any aspect - let alone COMBAT, even if it was just training. ( but, his peers and allies alike, he shouldn’t. he was good, apparently, but he couldn’t believe them. )

 “A-ah, Ashido-san. Hello.” A small, timid wave and accompanied nod. This would be a great opportunity to get some personal data on Mina, so he wasn’t about to waste that, and had even gotten a quirk from someone he thought was a DECENT counter, a way to test it out. “Are you ready…?” He wasn’t, he’d never be. Mina was tough, and he was bound to lose no matter the quirk he had.

His uncertainty in his voice and his timid nature made her smile. He always seemed so confident when he would get carried away saving people, but out of the action he was nervous and shy. How cute, she thought to herself. Bending her knees and bring her hands out in a ready position she replied, “Let’s do this.”

Hitoshi noticed the wince Mina did in response to him putting disinfectant on her wound. He looked up for a moment to see if she was crying, but her face was just twisted in pain. He gave a small smile and looked back down at her wound. He dabbed at it a bit before removing the cloth to let it dry. 

“Just lay there for a moment. I will bandage it when it has dried a bit.” He then got up and went to his desk drawer. He didn’t say anything as he silently opened it and pulled out a pack of Pocky. He turned around, handing it to Mina with a slight tinge of embarrassment. He usually didn’t do these kinds of things.

“Here have this. You need to eat and because you’re a ‘tough independent woman’ you deserve it.”

The cool air made her skin shiver half from pain and half from the cold. She was surprised when he handed her a pack of pocky, he didn’t strike her as someone who liked sweets. Thanking him she bit a piece off of the chocolate stick. She blinked up at him he cheeks seemed to be red, maybe embarrassed from being so kind? She wondered silently to herself as she couldn’t help smirking.
