Following my previous post of a religion been created around Grace, I think that if Simon was here he would be somthing like the High Priest.
In many ways he thinks that Grace is an angel, something divine, beyond human reach. I think that Simon ways of showing his appreciation and gratitude would be by workshipping Grace as Eden has taugth him to do. He would highlight his good qualities in prays, leaving him offerings, narrate his actions as cotidiane miracles.
The eridians that are coming up with a religion, would link those actions to the belief they already had around Grace, giving it structure to their faith in Grace: Creating prays about how he would protected them from the cold of a universe without stars, leaving him rocks and minerals as offerings, making his story with Rocky become not only part of the history of Erid, but also a sacred text.
Simon would taught the eridians what is to workship something and the eridians would follow his example to the letter.
Rocky and Grace, who are scientists at heart, are horrified at all this.
