Saw @/Soursoppi’s Mdzs Zodiac post and was reminded of when I used to read fruits baskets. I’ve been thinking of mdzs fruits basket au for a while now and I’ve thought of a couple of different versions. In the one I stuck with the zodiac animals mostly align with the art except WWX is not cursed and just a normal person, NHS is the horse & MXY is the cat. Also instead of a hug from the opposite gender triggering the curse, any hug from any gender (besides other members of the zodiac ofc) causes them to transform (there isn’t a lot of girls in the cast so i had to stretch stuff for things to work)

The “Shoma” family is made up of Wens, Lans, Jiangs, Nie, & Jins who are all somehow distantly related to each other or somehow united the families (Idk but JYL & JZX are still somehow engaged & it’s not weird). The Wens are the leading family in charge, with WRH as the family head (I’m planning on making WX the “god” of the curse but with WRH & WC doing more of Akito’s manipulation & abuse towards the zodiac members.) WQ isn’t a zodiac member but she will have Hatori’s memory erasing trick (I’m sure that won't have any angst attached wink wink)

I’ve been obsessed with LMK for a while and made some ocs based on the Chinese Zodiac.

All of this is still a work in progress. So far i have designs for their human forms and am working on more animalistic/demon?/hybrid forms.

The idea is that after participating in the great race the Zodiac animals were allowed into heaven to immortalize them or something. They have duties in heaven (though I haven’t figured out what exactly) but every few centuries 11 of them come down to the mortal world to live amongst humans. Only 11 because 1 of them has to stay in heaven to do their duties based on whose zodiac year it is. On Lunar new years they host a festive gathering where at midnight they say farewell to the zodiac of the new year and welcome back the zodiac of the old year. Does all this make sense?

Anyway here’s my Eah isekai au.

Raven goes by Rook; like the chess piece and the bird. I haven’t exactly settled on an official name for the other characters but so far I have:

Daughter of Dorothy Gale - Debra Gale

Son of the Wizard of OZ- Ozzy (or Oswaldo/Ozbourne/Osiris/ etc.) [last name pending]

Son of Wendy Darling- Walter Darling (or Winston/Wilson/etc.)

These names can be subject to change and I don’t have one for the little girl yet. Other than Rook, these character got isekai’d into the bodies of characters who come from earth. Ex. Dorothy, The Darlings, The Wizard, Alice. (Not Involving Alistair though)

Also I’m playing around with the idea of shipping Rook with Ozzy.

The idea is that an oc from the modern world gets isekai’d/transmigrated into Raven’s body. She’s not the only one as there are 3 other ocs who also get isekai’d (but not into any main or pre-existing character, i made eah ocs for them).

It’s mostly about these 4 bonding with each other over being thrown into a kids show and judging the eah world/characters

This is my Rottmnt human oc. They use any pronouns and can go by either Oliver or Olive. Oli met Donnie first then eventually the rest of the family. They like learning new things and are naturally curious. Some of their hobbies involve knitting & makeup art. Due to not knowing any self defense Donnie made them 2 tech bracelets (they’re supposed to be more purple) that shoot tranquilizers & act as a taser/stun gun.

Shortly after meeting Donnie, Oli decides that he’s interesting to be around and proclaims them as friends. Much later they self-proclaim themselves as his lab partner, and eventually (after a lot of begging) convince Donnie to accept the title. They are amazed by Donnie’s genius and inventions and constantly tell him so, unknowingly feeding his ego. Part of the reason Donnie lets Oli stick around is because of their constant praises. (Dude really needs some validation)

They are basically a platonic simp for Donnie, and really want to be his friend because they think he’s really cool. They like listening to him infodump but usually only understand about 60% of what he’s talking about. They sometimes encourage Donnie’s chaotic nature when it's in the name of science, but are also his moral/ethical backbone and sometimes have to hold him back.
