            SHE was running rather frantically, her legs trying to take her as far as             she could. Her mind repeating curses over and over again, cursing             herself for screwing up and revealing her powers in the open. Worst             of all? In front of another HERO. So much for a low profile. 

            CHRIST. A curse was mumbled under her breath as she jumped on             top of a dumpster, slender fingers grasping at a fire escape’s ladder.              booted feet scrambling to quickly climb up the fire escape towards             the roof.

     the sound of the hider hurrying up the metal ladder      caught the ears of the seeker. all he wanted to do was      talk after seeing that display of meta-human abilities       he’s never witnessed before. his curiosity was beyond      peaked.

     his steps were far slower, beginning to close the distance      between himself and the fire escape. it appeared as if he was      attempting not to spook her further, treating her like a frightened      animal, hopefully he’d leave the baby-talk voice out of the      situation. 

     central city was home to phenomenal heroes and vile villains.      although, right now it was the location for a rather large game     of hide and seek. a certain redhead was being hunted by another     gleam of the scarlet color.      a small, blue electric field buzzed around the hero as he stopped     near an alleyway, a smile tugging on his lips.
