It’s been a while so update on the community tank.

Stocking has been put on hold due to time and money issues. I don’t have time for a proper quarantine period until midterms are done. And work has cut my hours back so new fish isn’t in my budget as it’s going to be at minimum 100 dollars.

The fish are happy and healthy. Breeding too, though once again no time or money so I let them cull.

I have a slight black beard algea problem due to flow. I got a small circulation pump to help with that. I’m also going to increase my co2 slightly. I lost some plants to it though, and those will need to be replaced when I have the funds.

Acva Blog: My scape #3 – The great Danish (5'th of May 2015)

This is a Danish Style Aquarium, with red plants. The setup was started in october 2014. I am using Dennerle liquid fertilizers and nutritive substrate (Deponit Mix Professional), Dennerle heating cables with Duomat DeLuxe, CO2 adition controller by a Dennerle pH controller Evolution DeLuxe, and Giesemann bulbs.
