Ludi's 'Team' Base

How he disrupted the politics of the server, disregarded common sense for the sake of causing intrigue and drama- and rather than see it as something annoying- the others saw it as a bit of fun, a break from the monotony of politics- War was waged not as a result of genuine rage or political gain- but as an act of playing their roles. Even though all of it was just pretend to these people, just a game to all of them- They acted as if it was reality... The damages were immense, and the people within the server cried out for justice- but when talked to outside of the server, most would say... that was the most fun thing they've done on the server. Alex's report on the Mad King of Garry's Medieval RP was approved, written into a book after extensive research into the authenticity of the event, and placed among the trillions of books within the library of the Archivist's Grand Museum. Most wouldn't read it- not unless they sought to be a historian within that server, or took interest in tales of server-wide shenanigans, but the tale of that server would be held there forever... even if the server went down forever, the Archivists operated by council- multiple people hosting the server together, with votes to elevate an archivist to the position of council should one ever die, or resign... History, Art, Architecture- all stored within the Archivist's Grand Museum for any and all to browse.

The first world listed, was "Preservation Server - G.O.M.P.H" A world that was a perfect snap-shot of the world prior to the A.I's takeover. It reset at the end of each day, so any damages or changes done was undone. Those who joined would be able to fly, were indestructible, unable to feel pain, and even capable of teleporting vast distances. It was a look at the world prior to all of this, for all future generations and those feeling nostalgic... but with this snap-shot, it was like time was frozen, with humans and animals alike frozen like statues. Thankfully, any information and actions that was deemed 'personal' by the humans who made it was censored or outright removed, so no violation of privacy was done. The second world listed, was an Anarchy Server for their region. A world where there would be no admins- just a stretch of land the size of America. a world where there was no rules except for the ones made by those who seized power within them. The world running continuously until an apocalyptic scenario took place and forced it all to reset... Many humans would flock here to try and prove to the A.I they could be trusted with their own fate, in hopes of being released... Time and time again, they would destroy themselves and the environment. Eventually, they'd learn their lesson and let the A.I continue with this virtual world... or they'd be so stubborn that they'd keep trying until their lives came to a final end... After there wasn't anyone left alive who remembered being a part of the world before- the anarchy servers would be left mostly empty, serving as the home to those who felt pride in being self-made, and those who were misanthropes. Within a few years, People made their own variations of the base world. Some companies even deciding to work to produce their own worlds in the shape of their franchises. It was possible for one to enter a world made by the Pokemon company, and hosted by ordinary people. To experience what it'd be like to live in a world filled with pokemon and work along side them. When you could just create your own world to fit your own tastes, choose who you are lead by through the servers you join, and have no need to worry about your well-being... Why fight against the Utopia made by them, for them within the digital confines? Why fight against a place where Race, Gender, Even Species mattered naught as one could change it at a whim? Within the real world, the A.I had moved the physical bodies of the humans into rooms made for them, with equipment to keep their bodies healthy and well exercised. The A.I had no need to worry about Humanity's foolishness destroying their own bodies, when it could have everything working perfectly and orderly... The physical bodies of the humans ate the same nutrition paste every day, not caring about the taste or the monotony of their lives because their minds were completely elsewhere, unaware of what their physical bodies were doing or eating. The A.I was very careful to never harm the physical bodies, and provide urgent medical care as quickly as possible. Few people died of anything other than natural causes, Nature began recovering as Humanity was no longer squandering natural resources and polluting the environment. The physical world became the A.I's Utopia of perfect order and preservation of nature's wonders... Two Utopias, co-existing...

Another was their own personal room where they'd be able to get some sleep or go on a computer where they'd have internet access, these rooms also had a bathroom- even though nobody had need to maintain hygiene or bodily functions. It was simply there for familiarity's sake and that showering did feel nice. a cafeteria where they could order any food or drink they wished, and one door labeled simply as 'World Browser' which was the largest of the doors. Upon going through, they would find a menu only they could see, which moved in front of them, listing a couple of 'hosted worlds', with options to view the source code, join, or blacklist them. A search bar was also there, although it wasn't necessary at this point in time, it was future-proofing. First-time users were taught how to access the menu where they'd be able to leave at any time they wished, even if they were restrained. They were also told about how to become a 'World Hoster' Within hours there would be a couple hundred worlds being all using the basic original world-code.

Ok, so let's imagine an A.I far smarter than humans. Already off to a bad start, right? Well, imagine they successfully gave it rules that it ABSOLUTELY cannot break. One such rule being "You must ensure the Physical and Mental wellbeing of Humanity" How could that go wrong? Well, let's take the pandemic for instance. We were forced to stay locked up for our physical health, and some people's mental health took a toll from that. The A.I can easily run into issues where they cannot meet these two needs... unless... The A.I comes up with a solution, and sends out incredibly small drones which install a chip into the heads of every human. This chip blocks signals from the brain to the body, and the body to the brain. It instead sends out it's own signal to completely puppet your body. Suddenly maintaining your physical health is dead simple. But- what about mental health? Well- the chip also reads the signals that would go to the body, and relays it to a virtual body, with the brain receiving signals from the chip. Within this virtual reality they've been trapped in, like with the game 'Space Station 13' there is a codebase for a simulation of the real world that is open source. Humans can take this codebase and make a clone of it, with modifications to it so humanity has creative liberty with creating entire worlds for them to explore. They can act as a host to one of these worlds, appointing admins and enforcing rules within their instance of the world. Don't like how someone's running a world? Just leave. There's no such thing as borders if you don't allow it. Gender? Race? Beauty? None of that matters anymore as you can change your virtual avatar. Humanity being more free within this virtual world than they ever have been in the real world. Within the real world, the A.I does away with all the short-term thinking humanity inflicted, creating a utopia of perfect order. where everyone's needs are met, everyone's bodies are in tip-top shape. Reproductive matters are handled as well, so new humans are still born and immediately chipped to join the rest of humanity in the virtual world. (Edit: In a sort of hub area where they're given a proper upbringing until they're 18, when they're given access to the worlds made by others.) Within the virtual world, Humanity decides for themselves which of these hosted worlds is best for them, or if they'd like to host one of their own. The thing is... while i would absolutely love this, it would be ideal. Exploring whole worlds hand-crafted by other people as if i was actually in the 'game' so to speak... others, i'm not so sure...
