Tuff Shet @ Hilliards’s Beer
SSNACKSS @ Hilliard’s Beer
They had technical difficulties they couldn’t control. We only heard the vocals about 5% of the time. Either way they pulled it off. Confusion and dreamy guitars made up for a lack of vocals. I love confusion and dreaminess.

Torch Burner @ Hilliard’s Beer
They were loud, but you could make out all the guitar tones and the thumping bass. The 24″ Kick came through your chest. Harder then Rock, But softer than Metal. They played a very good version of The Stooges as well. Check em out.

Ruler @ Barboza
Ruler @ Barboza
I walked down the stairs to Barboza and could hear the chords the sing to my heart. It was Power Pop Rock and it was being done very very well. So well that I passed the bar and made my way up front, because I didn’t want to miss a note. Ladies and Gentlemen I think my new favorite band in Seattle is Ruler. (Well new to me at least) I kid you not, if any memeber of this band ever leaves i am going to try and smuggle my way in. I Don’t care if it is guitar, bass, or drums. I hope an EP or full length is being made.

Zebra Hunt @ Barboza
If they wonder why their Bandcamp gets so many plays, it is because of me. I have been streaming their songs for awhile now. Glad I finally got to see them and they sounded just as good as i thought they would.

Ages and Ages at Barboza
Crazy amazing Harmonies. I over heard at the show “They sound like music you would hear at the end of one of those Doctor TV shows.” I took that as a compliment. Support our friends from Portland.

Andra Taylor & Nate Dodge @ The Admiral Benbow
Philly comes to Seattle and we were more than happy to have them. Check out this great due form the West Coast. They are very nice people as well and on tour. I suggest you go see them and buy them many beers or Merch.

Darci Carlson @ The Admiral Benbow
I wasn't expecting Country Music when I went out Saturday to the Admiral Benbow. It was good county. The kind that makes you want to drink Whiskey and then drink even more Whiskey. If Waylon had a daughter ( i am sure he has many) this young lady would be it. I would love to see her and he amazing backing band again.

Tuff Shet @ The Admiral Benbow
I love when bands rock me. I love when Women in bands Rock me.(Plus one awesome male drummer of course) I love Tuff Shet! If more ladies picked up guitars, the world would be a much better place.

Some pics of Perfect Bombs last night at Metal Night at the Southgate Roller Rink. First time I have heard them and hopefully not the last.
Check them out here

Ask yourself this. Do you like Metal? Do you like Roller Skating? Do you like to do things that are different from your normal boring Saturday night? Good
Princess is playing a show with two other rocking bands at a Roller Rink in White Center. It will be crazy awesome and i assume will rock your skates off. Hmm, I have never worn earplugs at the roller rink, but I feel this time it might be a must.

Listen to The West!
I took the summer off from ABSeattle to do a big pile of nothing. I have been to no local shows, have not snapped one picture of up and coming rock stars and have missed some great things music wise around the city.
Like this! The New video from the West. As you might know this is one of my favorite live acts in Seattle. I mean you can shake your ass at their shows and fit in perfectly.
Check out their new video with Seattle Drag realness (Serving Fish anyone?) and their new album at Bandcamp here - http://bandthewest.bandcamp.com . I am digging the new album. Even more than the tunes I am digging Reed’s engineering and production.
The West next show is Roctober 3rd at the High Dive. I can’t think of a better way to kick off a Rocktober weekend.
It’s a Minus The Bear morning for me. I stumbled across them live at Daryl’s house and it is F’n amazing. I don’t know how I missed this in 2013. You all must check this out.
