Today marks the day of one of the rising personalities in the industry. Achie Ekayel Antonio celebrates his 22nd birthday with a lot of learnings and blessings. As a young actor and business owner, he always pursue his passion in teaching and giving his expertise to help others. He is truly an amazing person loved by many people. To this day, he may not be active in the showbiz industry, but he strives to enrich young people to learn business.

ACHIE ANTONIO: “To be with your first love is like winning a grandiose prize.”

Achie is just like anybody else who has experienced to be happy, to love, cry, sacrifice, and to compromise with a lot of things. We interviewed him before regarding with his first love.

How do you define love?

“A torturing yet happy and repetitive feeling,” he answered directly while laughing.

Can you share to us when you first experienced that definition of love?

“I have one, but I can’t say that the whole narrative is a torturing one. How do I start with this ba?” He laughed and continued with his answer.

“Siguro, sa first love ko. Disclaimer lang ah, it doesn’t matter naman if naging kayo to call it first love, it’s just how you see and feel the perspective. So going back, I met a boy nung junior high ako, I was his senior student so there was really an age gap between us. He was 13 and I was 16 that time. It was just a small school, but we have different schedules except pag break time. I can vividly remember na we used to see each other sa school coincidentally. But of course lagi akong happy and naka-smile pag nagkakasalubong kami.” He answered.

Can you share to us his name?

“Si Zach. Siya rin yung Zach na nasa vlog ko noon na hinahanap-hanap ng mga tao na maka-collab ko, pero of course it wasn’t feasible. So we became friends and then I fell in love. Siyempre at first ma-pride pa ko, wala di talaga ako umaamin kahit caught in the act na ko. Tapos eventually dumating rin yung obstacles and the 'chance' na para umamin. I eventually did confess and the results were expected to go downhill from there. It costed our friendship pa naman."

If your first love came back, what will you do?

"OMG! Alam mo, it did happen. I loved him for ilang years rin and he will always have this special place in my heart and kaya sabi ko sa sarili ko, 'nako ilang relapse pa mangyayari sakin.' Achie laughed and continued with his story.

"We actually met again in an unexpected time sa FEU, I didn't know na he's a student there and I as an alumnus who came for a visit. I saw him and without a word, I hurriedly approached and embraced him. Sobra ko siyang na-miss. The feeling is parang everything stopped kahit alam kong may nakatingin sa'min." Achie shared a story with a teary eye.

What was the lesson learned there?

"I know a lot of things came between us and he certainly can't reciprocate the same love that I ideally found in him. I might as well assumed that he liked me but [he] fought against it. I won't really know for sure. If given a chance, I would still go for it, I know him naman when he loves someone and yun yung pinaka magandang personality na meron siya. The lesson I learned throught the years when we were completely apart from each other is that, when two connections can't reach yet, you can go with other path. If it's meant to be, time will ultimately give it. Pero alam mo nung day na 'yun, it was his birthday. I said to myself na 'to be with your first love is like winning a grandiose prize."

Is there someone new na ba after Zach?

"Actually ngayon, wala. Although, my doors are open pa naman."

But have you moved on from Zach?

"Honest to goodness, hindi pa. I know for a fact na hinding-hindi na siya mawawala sa heart ko. Siguro ganun talaga ka crazy magmahal when you know it's real and true. The thing is, 'di nga lang siya na-reciprocate and it's the frustrating thing but will leave an impactful lesson."

It was an emotional interview that we had with Achie. It is indeed true that love is really mysterious. In the end, love prevails, but it's not always with the person we ideally would have.

The 21-year old Filipino actor, Achie Antonio, opens the 10th season of the Thomasian Film Society - a premier film organization of the University of Santo Tomas.

A microfilm entitled, “Day in the Life of Creatives,” Achie leads the role as the creatives member that has a lot of errands to do. The film ends with the line, “all for film.”

In this compelling film, the actor returns to his groundbreaking work with the production team of the organization. Thomasian Film Society is a recognized organization of film enthusiasts in the industry.

It has been one of the most spectacular night for the debutante as Achie Antonio turns 21 years old. The Filipino-Chinese actor celebrated his birthday for 2 days but his debut was celebrated on 9th of April 2023.

The debutante celebrated his birthday at McDonald’s Visayas Avenue and ended with a spark of his 10 inches cake and 21 shots with his close friends.

Achie is Back to Showbiz

It has been rumors that the return of the 20 year old Filipino-Chinese rising star, Achie Ekayel Antonio, on his acting career. He has been on hiatus for about 5 months since October 2022.

Achie Antonio, a Filipino actor, is also a student from University of Santo Tomas, one of the prestigious and well-remarked universities in the Philippines. From his cryptic post “will make a return 🎬” simplifies that he is about to go back from showbiz.

From some sources, it was rumored that he will return by April 2023, some says that his return will be held on the end of March 2023. But this surprise is a must wait. From the point, it could be his another great comeback.

Achie Antonio Faces Online Hatreds

Achie Ekayel Antonio, the 20 year old Filipino actor, faces online backlashes after receiving numerous slurs and other derogatory from Twitter. With the recent interview, it was revealed that the online hatred came after his silence. One thing that he never saw coming.

“It was really sad that they called out the issue na petty when all I wanted is for others to be aware so that hindi na maulit yung nangyari sa’min,” Achie stated.

The issue began 3 months ago when he replied to a tweet that he thought was just a form of entertainment. All of a sudden, the issue got bigger and bigger until it was followed by three series of arguments within the span of the first quarter of the year.

“I’ve been in this group for like 4 months or so na. I’ve been a pioneer and now one of the heads of the organization, though it’s somewhat under my control. Of course, as one of it’s acting leaders, I had to defend my subordinates. Kahit na masira pa reputation ko as long as I defend them with all cost,” Achie added.

What makes him sad and frustrated is the amount of hate he has received. He came to his conclusion that some people are enablers, some would really meddle with the issue, some wouldn’t understand but has something to say.

“I can’t blame them either. Mind-conditioning ba naman yung nangyari. No matter how hard I try to voice out the truth, there’s no point on trying kasi the lies has been placed so perfectly. The saddest thing pa na nangyari, mga special moots that I consider, sila pa yung unang tumalikod sa’kin,” Achie stated.

“I know I disappointed some people, pero it all happened from the outburst of my silence. Some said na we should’ve talked na lang in private. That’s the thing, we did naman. Pero yung dapat namin kausapin is very aggressive. How can both ends understand each other’s points kung yung isang end ayaw makinig? Nonetheless, I am not hoping na maayos yung issue. Ayoko lang dumating sa point na kainin ng ibang people yung mga sinabi nila sa’kin and sa group where I belong,” he added.

The actor revealed that he never saw this coming. He thought that what goes on his plan, will go accordingly. It was a lesson learned that life is really full of surprises — that there are certain things in life that we cannot control and no longer in our hands to take the stance.

“There comes a time that some people will really vanish in our lives. For some reasons, it’s just that they won’t understand us not until they learn to empathize. Yes, they can only sympathize but the very rationale of human understanding is to place yourself on the shoe of another. It’s just on how you see yourself on the perspective of others.” Achie on his final words and a piece of advice.

The 20 year old filipino-chinese rising star, Achie Antonio, welcomes 2023 with a blast. He has been grateful for all the blessings and opportunities that he has received in 2022.

The young actor is expecting more opportunities to come, a closer bonding with his family and close friends, and more time for himself. He has been thankful for all the people who has been with him through ups and downs.

Achie Antonio, a 20 year old Filipino actor, talks about his relationship and kinships. During the table talks, he asserted that it was a rollercoaster ride. Revealing that the rumors before, were all true that he ended up a relationship with his ex-boyfriend, Leo. He said that it was a wise decision for his peace of mind and independency.

Months ago, he suffered from his anxiety and made him leave showbiz temporarily. He managed to cope and fix his traumatic scars. However, despite of all the criticisms he got, he managed to pick his pace and recovered from certain issues.

Achie Antonio also revealed that he is now enjoying the moment and is trying to rekindle past kinships and establish a stronger foundation with his close friends and family. He said that he is still available to open his heart again. Although, he did not disclose of he is going out with someone else.
