Judyâs got it. âWhere Have You Beenâ Â DEAD TO ME Â Episode 2 Season 2.
abs! are you deathly scared of heights bc a foot and a half would be 2 shelves off the ground, 3 on a good day
âIâm a 152.4 centimeters tall person! Everything scares me- Iâm tiny, mate.â
eddiearlingtonâ:
Eddie gave a soft smile. â They are lucky to have a friend like you.â He then looked at the barman and back at Abigail. â You want a drink?â He asked and laughed when she mentioned him being busy. âI donât like to be bored as I overthink things if I get bored.â He admitted. Eddie then blushed as she spoke. â Really, Iâm just a teacher.â He smiled modestly then chuckled. â I can be quite demanding and I am not keen on people arguing with me when I know Iâm right.â He chuckled. â I mean I can be quite bossy.â
She returned the soft smile, her eyes glancing back at his eyes. They were so blue, they reminded her of the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic Sea. âThank you,â she mused softly, before looking away as she shyly tuck some hair behind her ear and licking her lips. She tried to conceal the blush that wanted to appear on her cheeks, to remain calm and in control of herself. âOh! Um, I suppose another Pepsi wouldnât hurt, but you truly donât have to.â Glancing back, Abiâs smile was understanding. âI get that; Overthinking can be just the worst sometimes.â The older blushing was such a surprise to her. She wasnât sure if sheâd ever seen him blush like that blush, but it was honestly kind of cute. The man was very big and tall and sort of intimidating, so to see him smile and blush like that was honestly so nice and helped her feel comfortable around him. To be fair, she was rather very small, so a majority of bigger people scared her. She was glad that he wasnât one of them. âPlease donât doubt yourself like that, Professor Arlington. The rest of the class would agree with me. Sometimes being bossy can be a good thing, though. Especially if youâre in charge and know what needs to be done. I mean, itâd be rather difficult gaining the attention and respect of the class if you were a pushover, right?"
eddiearlingtonâ:
âAhh, so you are sober sister? Thatâs very responsible of you, they are lucky to have you.â He said with a smile and then sighed. â I worked out then sorted out my garden then took the dog for a walk and I also had to mark all the work for your class. Now Iâm finally free for the day and my shoulders feel like lead.â He chuckled, â The best history teacher?â He teased âAre you trying to make me blush.â He craned his neck to check on the other women. â You want me to intervene? Tell them to behave.â He asked with a teasing smile. âIâm sure they would listen to me.â
Her lips tugged into a smile as she blushed softly at the compliment. âThank you. Iâd feel awful if anything bad were to happen to them; Theyâre just trying to have fun, after all.â She cared deeply for them. Growing up, she was able to make friends but she also never stayed anywhere for long enough to making those friendship life-longlasting until she lived in Cairo and then Dayton. Her brows raised slightly, nodding along to his words before letting out a low whistle. âDamn- you truly have been keeping yourself busy today. Hopefully the rest of your night will be satisfying after today.â Abigail covered her face with her hand as she laughed, feeling sheepish before peering back at him. âItâs just the truth! Iâve learned so much from you this year; Weâre really lucky to have you. Oh no, thank you! But I canât ask that of you, especially if youâre trying to enjoy yourself. Though youâre correct: I have no doubt that youâre capable to get anyone to listen and comply to your wishes.â

eddiearlingtonâ:
Eddie smiled at the brunette and sipped his drink. â Hi, Abigail, what brings you here? I didnât think you drank.â He asked. âI was so busy today, honestly I am a glutton for punishment and now I am feeling it. My back is killing me and my shoulders feel like I have carried a house on them.â He chuckled. â I need a cold drink and a hot bath or massage.â He admitted with a small laugh. â Howâs your night going?â He asked looking at her drunk friends with a raised brow. â They with you?â
âOh! Um, I donât. At least, not in big group settings like these. Iâm just here mainly for damage control,â she admitted. She always felt awkward admitting to people that she didnât really drink. And if she did, it was typically only one glass and in the safety of her apartment with her friends over. Or with Charity, but thatâs over now. Resting her chin in her hand, Abi smiled as she listened to him. âGoodness, what did you even do to yourself? We canât have you end up getting seriously hurt or something; What would Dayton University do without the best history teacher theyâve had in years?â Glancing at her friends, the brunette cringed when she finally saw them starting to act restless. âBefore? Rather boring. Now? Iâm sure any moment now one of themâs going to kiss someoneâs boyfriend and a fight will happen.â Standing a 5â˛0âł and basically having zero muscles, she most definitely would not be useful in that sort of situation.
eddiearlingtonâ:
Eddie was exhausted from working out in the gym followed by walking the dog then working in his garden before marking a shit load of papers. He was now over work. He needed a break, more precisely a drinkâŚor six. He sat down at the bar and ordered a cold Guinness. His throat dry from working his ass off with nothing but tea to get him through the day, thankfully it was now evening he could chill out and focus on relaxing with a cold drink. He sipped his drink and smiled at the person next to him. â Hey, I dunno about you but I have been craving a drink all day.â
Bars truly werenât her scene- and, technically by American laws, she was still too young to order a drink legally (which was absolutely bollocks, mind you). However, the girl didnât mind being the sober, basically mother hen when her friends went out and needed at least one person with a sound mind to keep them in check. So far, they were all behaving. Sitting at the bar and working on a Pepsi, she would alternate between watching her friends drink and be wild or play a game of senet on her phone. It wasnât until she heard that ever familiar voice when she finally paid attention to neither of those things. God, sheâd be able to recognize that voice anywhere. âEd- Professor Arlington,â the Brit quickly recovered, smiling warmly at the older man. âYou most certainly deserve one. Busy day, I take it?â

Daniel could notice the girl was struggling with the decision of taking the random boys hand or jumping from the safety of her position. The corner of his lips perked up slightly as she told him that she could show him the Shakespeare section. He mustâve looked completely lost in this new environment but there was no harm in telling the girl that he was in the wrong section. Daniel never really enjoyed asking for help as he preferred to sort it his problems himself. It was something his father instilled into him from an early age. âIs this the norm for a library? Pretty girls climbing the shleves.â He joked with the brunette as she jumped down from her perch on the shelves, his free hand jolted out to catch her as he noticed the wobbly landing from the girl. âYouâd think somebody who climbed the shelves would know how to stick a landing but iâve been proven wrong, obviously.â The girls request was simple and it was the least that Daniel could do in assisting the girl with retrieving the book that she went to the effort of finding. He reached upwards swiftly pulling the book down from the shelf. He glanced down at the cover, his fingertips grazing the cover as he glances back up to the girl âThutmose?â Daniel knew a bit about history, it was one of his favourite classes back in high school but heâd never really admit to being a bit of a nerd but it was worth making conversation with the girl about it as it was obviously something that she was passionate about. âYouâre a ancient history fan? I took you as more of a Jane Austen kind of girl, but who am I to judge?â He shook his head whilst he laughed once more, âIâm the guy wanting to find Shakespeare. I really canât judge you.â
Her cheeks burned bright red- though, whether that was due to her embarrassment over being caught like that or at the âpretty girlsâ comment, she couldnât say. Perhaps it was both. âItâs, um, it has been something Iâve done... perhaps once or twice before,â she admitted shyly. âSometimes I canât find a ladder or a stool or someone to help me, so itâs my only option! But I usually remember to bring a book bag with me, but I forgot it this time, so it was... Iâm, uh... Iâm rambling... Please ignore me.â Of course it was completely like her to ramble in front of a stranger. A very cute stranger, but she tried not to focus on that bit. Abigailâs face literally brightened up as he said the kingâs name, nodding quickly. âYou pronounced his name right! Oh my gosh, youâre one of the few people Iâve met who pronounced it correctly. Wait, are you also a history major? Or hold some interest in the subject?â With a bright grin, the brunette laughed softly. âMore than a fan, itâs practically my whole world. Iâm an archaeology major at Dayton University, but Iâm specializing in ancient civilizations. I lived in Egypt for awhile and itâs just... Itâs my most favourite place in the whole world. But I do like Jane Austen as well!â The Brit giggled, biting down on her bottom lip as she shyly brushed her hair out of her face. âNothing wrong with being the guy whoâs looking for Shakespeare. His works are classics for a reason. Oh, right! Shall we? His works arenât too far from here.â
Top 3 favorite women in Dayton?
âMonroe and Beth seem nice! But... Charityâs number one... Always will be.â

how are you liking dayton so far?
âIâve been here for two years now, but I do like it here! Iâve met some nice people and I really enjoy my classes. Though I would love to meet some more people, make some more friends. Though I suppose the thing I donât like the most about living here was how bad my relationship with my ex ended...â

danielwestsâ:
Daniel had only recently become a regular in the library, he was starting to read most of Shakespeareâs plays after finding an old version of Romeo and Juliet in the cafè and flicking through it whilst he waited for his coffee. Daniel wasnât entirely sure what play he was going to be reading next but he slowly walked through the aisles trying to find the section that he required. His brown hues traced the shelves as he walked through as he muttered to himself, âCooking.. How to work an Iphone⌠Iâm definitely in the wrong section.â He laughed to himself. As he turned around the corner to the next aisle he noticed the small girl climbing the book case in front of her, she obviously couldnât reach the book that she wanted, so it was quite amusing watching her climb the bookcase in front of her as it wasnât often you found someone acting like they were Spiderman in the library. Daniel had noticed that the girl looked quite concerned about how she was going to get down from the predicament that she was in, so he stepped towards her as a smile appeared on his lips, âI think Iâm in the wrong aisle for Shakespeare but are you okay?â He asked her as he extended his hand out towards her so that she could have some kind of support getting down.Â
Biting down on her lower lip, she was starting to tempt the idea of possibly taking the risk and jumping down off from the shelves. However, knowing her luck, there was the very high chance sheâd end up hurting her ankle- maybe even both of them. Unfortunately for Abigail, she had also forgotten to grab her book bag, in which she couldâve just place the book in there and then climb down such as before. The brunette was too lost in her thoughts that she hadnât noticed the otherâs presence. She jolted slightly at his words, tightening her grip on the shelves so she wouldnât fall. Glancing up, Abiâs cheeks burned red and she smiled sheepishly. âI, um, I know where the aisle for Shakespeare is at,â she mused out weakly. âBut, Iâm not... quite sure if âokayâ would be the correct word Iâd use right now.â She felt so embarrassed over this stranger catching her like this. Truly, it wasnât ideal. Especially not for a proper English woman, or so her mother would exclaim. Rather ironic as she grew up with an unconventional childhood filled with adventure and the freedom to be wild and yet, her mother still expect her to has the class and poise of a British socialite. And suppose, the brunette could now argue that she isnât even British at all, but that would upset both parties. She didnât want that. Glancing at his hand, she gently placed the book on a lower shelf (hopefully low enough for her to reach) before taking his hand and jumping down. She squeaked slightly at first, her landing wobbly but fortunately without causing her to end up injured. Beaming brightly, she quickly started saying, âThank you so much! Now, all I need is my-... Oh, dear...â Glancing back up, her heart grew heavy. Apparently, the so-called âlower shelfâ was still much too high for her 5â˛0âł stature. Groaning softly, Abigail looked back at the kind stranger before asking quietly, âUm... Could you possibly grab my book, please?â

monroeicalsâ:
monroe was about to spit out another string on curses when she saw the girl who seemed to now have gained her attention. she takes a deep breath to calm her nerves down, at least. by the looks of it, sheâs only wanted to help her. maybe tone down the moodiness, monroe? the poor girl didnât do anything shitty to you. âdonât startle anyone like that ever again. someone might just throw a punch, and i hate to see that pretty face of yours get hurt.â she sighs again, looking back at her bike too see the wires freshly cut off. she points at them for the other to notice. she takes a few seconds before responding to the brunetteâs proposal. âsome help would be nice,â she shrugs in response, slipping both of her hands in her back pockets. âi have somewhere to be today. whoâs thisâŚ.someone you know?â
âThatâs fair,â she agreed softly with a gentle smile. The girlâs comment caused her to blush and she composed herself to try not to short circuit or anything. âOh! Right, um, her nameâs Nevada Guerrero and she works at the mechanic shop. Sheâs helped with some of my friendsâs cars and bikes before and theyâve all had nothing but nice things to say about her work. I donât personally drive, so I havenât had her help with that, but she is really nice! Uh, here, hold on-...â Reaching into her backpack, she pulled out her phone before searching for the mechanicâs number. Once she found it, she held her phone out for Monroe and brushed some hair out of her face. âSheâd most likely be here in no more than ten minutes and could help you out in no time at all,â Abigail promised. âIâm really sorry that youâre having troubles with your bike, though.â
âThutmose⌠Thutmose⌠Where are you?â With furrowed brows and stubborn determination, Abigail slowly walked down the library aisles trying to find what she was looking for. Surely they would have it... Finally about to give up, she grinned brightly when she looked up and saw the thick book, beautiful in her eyes with a burgundy colour. However, it was on the highest shelf. Not seeing a step-stool or a ladder around, nor another person in sight, she looked at the next bookcase. The bookcases were pretty close together, so this might work⌠Taking a deep breath, she placed her right foot on one of the lower shelves and held on to a higher shelf before grabbing another shelf on the opposite bookcase with the book she was wanting and stepped on one of itâs lower shelves with her left foot. Slowly and carefully, she climbed each shelf one at a time until she got to her bookâs location and was about a foot and a half above the ground. Her right hand held tightly on a shelf on the opposite bookcase as she grabbed the book and smiled victoriously. âGotcha!â Now how is she going to get down? âUh... Shit.âÂ
