biography:
Abel grew up in Beverly Hills and he was spoiled from the get go. Both of his parents were in the limelight, his father a luxury real estate agent and his mother an actress. His idea of normal was luxurious houses and extravagant parties. And whilst his parents always donated to various charities, Abel didn’t know what it was like at all to be anything less than rich. Branded clothing, cars, accessories.
Abel flew through his schooling, he spent most of his high school years high and paying people to complete tests for him. He had become very carefree, because he could get away with anything. Nobody would mess with him knowing who his parents were, so he breezed through easily but when it came to a career it wasn’t as easy. His only interest was photography but this wasn't good enough for his families expectations, so instead, he ended up getting a job at his fathers real estate agency which was the top agency in Los Angeles specializing in celebrity and luxury homes. He knew he had to work hard, for his fathers sake so he did. Eventually becoming the youngest top selling agent in the country.
But, Abel was hungry for more, so he found the right people to pitch a reality tv show to. Luxury Listings LA first aired when Abel was twenty two, it focused on him and his colleges selling these opulent mansions in Los Angeles and the drama that followed them throughout the work place. Cheating scandals, drug rumors, you name it that show had everything and people lapped it up. It quickly became one of the most successful Netflix reality shows to exist.
The show had seven seasons, but when Abel started spiraling from the emotional pressure not just from the public and the his father, Morris had enough. He wasn't well, drugs, alcohol, girls, barely showing up to work on time. Getting into fights, on camera, physical ones. Morris knew it was time for something different for his son, so he chose Cedar Point to open his newest branch.

The room was practically spinning. White-hot anger grew in her veins as her mind continued to spin with all of the possibilities. She was no stranger to being used, and she had spent years watching Abel manipulate moments for the show, so he certainly wasn't a stranger to feigning emotions for his benefit. There was a part of her that feared everything about their reunion had been a lie. Her teeth sank into the inside of her bottom lip to bite back the impending tears. "You didn't know the first time you met with my uncle." she corrected, dark eyes trained on him. "You knew the moment I fucking told it to you. You knew when you met with him for a second time!" Her words grew louder, the wavering behind her voice growing with every syllable. "So save me the bullshit."
Black curls fell around her post-crying, puffed cheeks as she nodded at his words. "And where did hiding situations from me get us before, Abel?" she asked, her voice still pointing to the battle to bite back weakness. Her gaze trailed over to the stack of paper. Just the sight of them was enough to make her stomach churn. "Oh yeah, it left me with no job, broken connections, a one-way ticket home, and months of thinking you fucking couldn't stand me. And yet you still chose to let me be blindsided. Again." Tears pricked at the corners of her eyes, her sleeve soon wiping them away. The very weight of her words settled into her, the repercussions of the fact sending another pang of hurt through her. This all could have been avoided; she could have been spared from this level of hurt. But he didn't do that. Nails dug into her palm as a new wave of emotion threatened to overtake her.
Her own eyes darted down to the floor, unable to look at him in this moment. "Do you realize what you'd be taking away if I can't fucking convince my uncle to not go through with this?" she asked, one of her hands resting on the arm of the couch for support. Pippa felt so mentally and emotionally overwhelmed, she could topple at any minute. "My family's entire lives are wrapped up in that place. We've all worked so fucking hard to keep it alive. Like, yeah, I've shit on it a lot, but it still means the goddamned world to me. All of the only good fucking memories I have to hold onto happened there. Most of the memories I have left of my mo-" A sob threatened to be ripped out of her when the thought of her mother came to the forefront.
She forced her eyes to meet his once again, hers rimmed with red and watery. "...You decided what was important to you the minute you didn't tell me what was going on. And you doubled down when you met with him again." A gray streak of a tear fell down her every-rouging cheeks. The next words stuck in her throat. She didn't want them to come out; the reality that would follow was one she had dreaded living in. "I can't do this, Abel. Us." The last part was barely above a whisper. Tears continued to flow, the stream more steady now.
"You are always going to be our child's father, and I'll never deny you that relationship. But I can't..." Pippa was hardly holding herself together at this point. Every part of her was laid bare in this moment. "We can't..."
"You really want to believe I'm a that much of a fucking shit head, don't you?" The words came out angry, Abel needed to remind himself that she didn't need someone screaming at her. He always protected her when it came to his father, it didn't matter if the outcome would hurt her. Knowing what his father was capable of was far scarier than her. It frustrated him, that she didn't trust him even though every time he'd fucked up all he was trying to do was help her. It frustrated him that she'd believe this of him after so much time they had spent together. Abel really thought that she knew him better than this. "You really love to paint me as the bad guy." His voice was steady but his eyes said it all. He was just as broken as she was.
"I'm fucking terrified of him, Pippa." He admitted, sucking in a breath. It was the truth, probably the most truth that he had ever told her because Morris was a very scary person with a ton of power. And he wasn't afraid of using it. He'd protected her from seeing that most of the time and the fights that she did witness were only miniscule in the scale of things. There'd been times he'd done much worse to him to the people around him. Abel had witnessed quite a lot and Pippa didn't realize that.
"I know the sentimental value of this place to you, I wouldn't have kept it from you forever but I wanted to attempt to de-escalate the whole thing." Truth be told, Abel wasn't doing a good job of it. Morris was just digging his heels in deeper, and deeper. Abel was losing his fucking mind. She didn't get it, and maybe that was half the reason they hadn't got their shit together after all this time anyway. They were both from very, vastly different worlds. He was worried for her - for the baby. She was fragile, not that he'd ever say it to her face but he could tell. He absolutely wanted to lose his shit but he couldn't out of concern for her. “Pip, please.” He stepped closer, tears threatening by to fall down his own cheeks as he watched her eyes well up. “I know you think I should just tell you these things but all I’m ever trying to do is protect you from him. I don’t care how strong you think you are, he can make people disappear.” Abel’s gaze traveled to the floor, he wanted to reach out and hug her but that would make things worse. “I am sorry, all I’m ever trying to do when it comes to him is protect you.”
Her final words stung like a knife to his chest. He’d never felt anything quite like that pain. Was there anything he could do to make this right? “Pippa, please.” Tear-filled eyes attempted to reason with her, stepping even closer. “I’m sorry I’ll fix it, I promise.” @pip-danvers
The pounding in his head only continued to heighten. The meaningless chatter around him only seemed to make him want to hit someone. But as hes been told, violence wasn't the answer. Whoever said that was an idiot, but fine, whatever. Instead, he stares at the black hot coffee before him. It tasted like shit. No matter how you decked it up or didn't, it all still tasted like shit. But he found that coffee usually helped him with his hangovers, so he guess he could make the exception. He had plans to behave, he did. Just because he was miserable, didn't mean everyone else had to be. At least, not today. That was until the cheery, upbeat tone of Abel Livingstone crashed right into the side of his temple. He didn't catch what was being said, nor did he care. All that mattered was that it was his damn voice. Turning in that direction, "Your voice is like nails on a chalkboard, Livingstone." He grumbled, "Ever thought about just being mute. I'm sure it'll give you a refreshing challenge with the ladies."
Abel stopped mid sentence, turning to the male with his head cocked to the side. "Well, good morning to you too, sunshine." Dark eyes narrowed in the other's direction, he knew most people didn't like him and that was okay, didn't ever stop him from putting up a fight though. "You know, you got a lot of nerve talking to me like that when you look like you just crawled out of a ditch behind some shit bar." It was written all over Pierce's face. At least when Abel got shitfaced, he still knew how to scrub up well the next day. "You know your voice is fucking annoying too, but you don't hear me complaining about it." @piercerbrooks
"Hi," Abel said as he walked into his office coffee in hand. His assistant had told him that Tessa had arrived (and made her something to drink too), he wasn't late. He was perfectly on time as always. Abel knew he was very good at his job, despite his father's input. "I understand you're looking at maybe purchasing property here? I can't say I blame you, it's a lovely place." Abel wasn't exactly telling the truth, but he had to sell the picture. "Is there a particular area you're looking in?"
The numbness that had settled in her veins since finding out was overwhelming; the feeling burned through her like a Roman Candle. She had tried to find a way where she was reading this situation wrong, where this was just another 'her being fired' situation, but there was no possibility of that. His name was on all the paperwork, in black and white. His signature was left in an ugly stroke of ink. It was eating her from the inside out, all acid and corrosion. Pippa shot him a text before jumping into her car, the street lights fleeing past as she drove off into the night.
Every extremity buzzed with nerves; her fingers drummed against the steering wheel, and her left leg bounced almost uncontrollably. It was as if her body was rejecting every bit of this. A fleeting idea of turning the car around and bailing came to mind, but she went against it, no matter how tempting it may have been. Even as she pulled up to his house in Holly Oake Circle, Pippa wondered if she was even going to be able to coax herself out of the car. Those hot, ugly tears that had been becoming far too familiar threatened to spill over. She quickly wiped them away, composing herself with a few deep breaths, and forced herself up to his front door.
Seeing him again made the emotions welling up inside all the more complex; both a want to scream at him, yet a desire to just embrace him were at war. Before any could bubble over and render her a mess, Pippa quickly pushed past him, slamming her bag down on the floor. Not a word was uttered as she unzipped the bag, pulling out the proposal. Dark eyes locked with him as she slammed it down on the coffee table, a loud yet dull thud filling the space. "Fucking 'shame on me' for believing all that sappy bullshit, huh?" Both her words and her glare were sharp, knifelike even. "Just business, right?"
Lips soon slivered into a tight line as she tried to bite back any display of weakness from emerging. "You're un-fucking-believable, Abel. Truly."
She knew.
And Abel's heart sank to the bottom of his stomach. This feeling of anxiety, of sadness, perhaps even of heartbreak..it wasn't something he'd ever experienced before. It wasn't a feeling he ever wanted to experience again, either but something told Abel it was something he may just have to get used to. He'd always let her yell, scream, say whatever. Get her emotions out. There was a slight worry for the baby and her being stressed but if he voiced that he'd just get yelled at some more.
"I didn't know." Abel told her honestly as she pushed passed him. Pippa was well aware of his fathers manipulation tactics, however she knew that Abel, when he wanted to be could be just like his dad. Not with her though, never. . The door clicked shut behind her, and the proposal made that thud on his coffee table which echoed throughout the room. He turned slowly, watching her with dread in his chest which spread like rot. Right now, he couldn't even fight back cause at the end of the day she was still right. He'd done this. "I don't know if he knew." Was all he could say, a short, sad, sigh leaving his lips.
Then his voice went quiet, his attention went to the floor. "I thought I could fix it before you found out, Pip." Abel figured she could scream all she liked, he probably deserved it at this point, but the truth was, Abel would not have got involved if he knew the repercussions. Not this time. Sure his motto was the words she'd just let slip from her mouth but not when it came to her. She was his family, he realized that now, but he also had nothing good to say. "I still am trying to fix it, Pippa." @pip-danvers

Things were good with Pippa at least. His father, on the other hand? Not so great. Abel had been trying his best to figure out what to about the diner situation. There'd been multiple fights between him and Morris over it and multiple threats issued from his father. Abel still wasn't sure what his father's entire intentions were, if he knew the dinner belonged to her family or not. There was a lot to figure out on his part, but Abel didn't see the point in stressing Pippa out with it, not when she was pregnant. She clearly didn't know or she would have screamed at him for that too.
He'd just got home from being at Livingstone & Co all day. His father was in town, so it really hadn't been an easy day for the dark haired man. Exhaustion showed on his features and quite frankly he was ready to sleep. This whole thing was certainly taking a toll on him. He felt torn, still wrapped up in earning his father's trust and respect but things had changed with Pippa. He knew that she and their child were his priority now, there were no ifs or buts about it. The pull he had to Pip was stronger than ever now. The frantic knocking at the door made him jump. Answering the door, and seeing her face he immediately knew something wrong. "What's wrong? Are you okay?" Concern quickly settled into his features. "The baby's okay right?"
"Figured having a peaceful time to myself wouldn't last long," she grumbled to herself as she stared at Abel and biting back a smile. "Just say you want to hang out with me, it's okay, I won't tell anyone." April jokingly said as she tilt her head to the side with a playful grin. @abelxlivingstone
"You caught me," Abel mused, ready to tell her whatever she wanted to make her happy. He knew he needed to keep himself in her good books if he wanted to keep sleeping with her, which, he did. "Maybe I did come looking for you." He let out a small chuckle. "So, are you going to let me sit and buy you a drink?" @aprilrcse
The shift between them this time felt like nothing before; every step that had been taken before seemed trivial compared to this moment. There was no going back from this, not after they had laid every part of themselves out for the other emotionally. They were going into this unknown, this absolute unprepared abyss, but they were going together. All these months, Pippa had been wondering what there was for her now after it seemed like everything had been ripped away from her. She had felt lost, stranded without a map. But what she hadn't considered was that her future could have been a person. The sentiment would have earned an eye roll from her not long ago. However, as they bared themselves to each other, knowing that they were completely together once again, the idea seemed a little less silly. Maybe their little unexpected family was her new future.
Her head tilted slightly up under his guidance, dark eyes focusing solely on him. The way she could feel him coming undone under her touch sparked that familiar want inside of her. His words pushed her closer to the edge, his quickened pace urging her farther. Her body continued to tighten around him, winding up tight and preparing to snap. The kiss was welcomed back as it kept her noises muffled. Hips bucked with every movement, nails dug harder into his back, but her lips still stayed on his. Suddenly, the tension snapped, and Pippa began to unravel; every muscle tightened, her grip growing stronger and pulling him close. And through her breathy expletives, a clear "Fuck, Abel." managed to pass through, hitting his lips. As she ran her high, black curls soon fell over his shoulder as her head fell into the crook of his neck, soft kisses being placed on his skin.
The way his name left her mouth, all breathless and moaning, always sent him into a frenzy and when he felt her her clench around him instantly his body tensed up too, finally releasing inside her with one last deep thrust. “Fuck,” the rough word dragged out, his head buried in her neck as the ecstasy rippled through his own body. His own nails leaving marks on her hips. He never wanted this to end, they were both well aware they could definitely do this all day. Every day and it would just get better every single time. Not only could they sense what each other’s body needed, they could read each other like books. His thrusts slower to a stop, chest heaving as her curls fell against his skin.
Abel slid her body towards the edge of the counter just a little bit more, this time his arms wrapped around her shoulders in an embrace, his warm lips pressing once to her temple and then to her forehead. “I’ve got you, Pip.” He reiterated quietly. Abel wasn’t just craving her sexually but emotionally too. It showed in the way he held her, never ever wanting to part from her. “I’m not letting you go again. Ever.” Another kiss pressed to her forehead, still allowing her to come down from the intensity of it all. “I fucking missed you.” His voice barely a whisper now, he’d found himself rather emotional after all of this. The dark haired man knew what to come would be the hard part. Figuring out how to be a parent and how to deal with his father but he had to do it for her. Things had shifted once again between them but in the best way possible. “I mean it. I’ve got both of you.”
Once he picked up the pace out of retaliation, Pippa bit down hard on her bottom lip, keeping herself from becoming too loud. No one was there, but it was a force of habit from them doing this so many times in places they shouldn't have. The small of her back arched as he continued the hurried, passionate pace.
He'd said those words before, countless times, in moments like these. Just another part of their game. And before, she'd give some snide answer that still kept him at arm's length. It had been her modus operandi for as long as she could remember: say something that would both entice, but would keep you in complete control. It had fit perfectly into their dynamic before. But now? Now the words were genuine. They felt more like a promise than anything. They were finally meeting each other at this crossroads, and they had to make a choice. Trusting was hard, and it was always going to be hard. Trusting meant inviting hurt, she knew that. However, she didn't quite care about being hurt, knowing it was Abel saying the words to her.
A sharp noise of pleasure shot out of her mouth as his grip on her thighs tightened. She swore she could get lost in his eyes, and the genuine look ignited behind them only made her adore them more. The feeling of his kisses on her jaw made her eyes flutter as his pace continued to quicken. Her grip on both his back and his hair tightened as she found herself barely holding on. His words weren't helping her keep herself together, either. Dark eyes, lust-blown pupils rendering them even darker, looked into his own under his guidance. Pippa felt ready, ready to let the walls she had so laboriously crafted around herself come toppling down. "I'm yours." Her words were uncharacteristically soft. "Dammit, Abel, I've always fucking been yours." And before even a moment could pass, she pulled him into another desperate, wanting kiss.
Abel was totally and utterly lost in her. There was nowhere he’d rather be than right here with her. There was no better high than her and he was ready now. Perhaps they needed those months apart to realise their true feelings for each other. Those three words hanging off his lips once again and this was his way of showing her, telling her just what she meant to him. What were the odds that they'd ended up here together? There was no way Morris sent him here knowing Pip was here too.
He didn’t smirk like he usually would have there was only pure adoration behind his gaze, ready to make her completely unravel. All this time he swore he didn’t know what this feeling was but it was so easy now. Neither of them were fighting it or denying. They didn’t have to voice it because the pair, deep down already knew, they were also about to start a family together. It was terrifying but Abel felt safe knowing that he was doing it with her. Every single noise she made, every breath that left her mouth made Abel weaker. The sound of their sweaty bodies crashing together now filling the diner, taking over from the damn annoying buzzing of the sign. Pippa’s words made him smile, the way she said it told him exactly how she felt and how right he’d been all along. No sassy remark followed that put her back in control. She had completely surrendered, he just hoped she knew that he was hers too.
His finger went under her jaw, thumb on her chin so her attention was still locked on him. “Cum for me, beautiful. Show me just how much you’ve missed me.” His hands went to the counter, gripping onto it for leverage as his thrusts got faster, clear he was about to totally unravel himself the way he throbbed inside her. Abel’s mouth went straight back to hers almost immediately, kissing her like a man starved and technically he was when it came to her after all these months. @pip-danvers

The way she sat on the diner counter, looking down at him with that goddamn smirk on her lips nearly killed him. Some would say this was how Abel got wound up in her in the first place. Nothing had been right in the last six months. Every night Abel tried to distract himself from thinking about her. Something about this mirrored their first night together. The desperation, the fact it was now in her workplace not the one they previously shared. Yet this time, all his anger had melted away.
Dark eyes watched over her, like they always did whilst she hitched her skirt up, full of lust and longing. Abel didn't think he'd ever be back here again, he wanted to savor every single minute of it, of her. As the buttons popped on his own shirt, the dark haired man didn't waste time to get the top of the diner uniform off her, thankful the apron had gone with it. His lips crashed back against hers, rougher now and driven by all those months of restraint and missing her. Her skin was hot on his, her nails dragging along his skin which only made fueled his need.
"I would never," Abel's voice was low and rough, his only goal ever, was pleasing her. The feeling of her hand on him barely lasted before his belt was undone and his pants were down around his ankles. His lips had found their home back on the woman's skin now. Chest heaving with every movement between them, his hands went straight to her wrists, pinning them back to get them out of the way before he guided himself into her with absolutely no hesitation. "I fucking missed you too." Each thrust was slow, agonizing, part of their game but also something that would help him last Abel had missed her that much. Finally his hand returned to her cheek to bring their mouths together again, those soft, sweet, passionate kisses now returning and muffling every noise of pleasure he made. @pip-danvers
It was crazy to think of just how much of their lives they had spent together. Seven years was a long time to spend almost every day with someone. Seven years of getting to know them, of shared moments; so much of him was ingrained into her very soul. Having his eyes wandering over her once more elicited the familiar high it always did; the one she hadn't realized how much she missed until now. Their hurried movements only highlighted the longing both must have felt. Pippa assisted him in slipping off her top, just another piece of clothing added to the pile. It was a well-choreographed dance; one they had done many times before. Even trailing her nails over the newly exposed skin felt like surveying familiar land. Everything felt so right.
His words drew another airy laugh from her, welcoming his lips as they continued to explore her newly exposed skin. "I'm sure you won't." He hadn't yet, but the teasing was just part of their welcome routine. The way he pinned her wrists back, the feeling of him finally pushing himself inside of her; Pippa wanted to live in this moment. The legs wrapped around him pulled him closer, forcing his hips to push flush with hers. A slight whine followed his agonizingly slow movements while her face buried itself in the crook of his neck. "Tease." she taunted once more, gentle kisses placed across his jaw.
She welcomed the sweeter kisses as the woman wrapped herself around him completely. The hand that was once gripping his dark hair soon found itself settling on the side of his face. Pippa pulled away from their kiss slightly, though she continued to keep him as close as possible. "Don't fucking let me go again." her words were breathy, sounds to ecstasy trying to escape as she spoke. Maybe she shouldn't have said it. If she had a clear head, she would have realized the vulnerability she had just exposed and it would have scared the shit out of her. But she couldn't think of anything else in this moment but him. Of them.
This whole thing had been a little bit of a blur but it meant she was safe, in his arms again, so there was nothing else that mattered to him. Whether they admitted it or not, whatever they had going on between them was far more just than sex, and desire. It was everything. A grunt left his lips as his hips were pulled closer by her legs wrapping tighter around him, his hips crashing into hers with every deep, hard thrust he made, barely able to hold himself together. This was rushed, heated, passionate but somehow, still more intimate than the last time they saw each other - Abel wasn't sure if it was because he'd missed her, or his feelings had resurfaced stronger than ever, or both.
A breathy laugh exited his lips as she called him a tease, which instantly made him pick the pace of his thrusts up a little bit. Part of him was going relatively easy on her considering the time passed and simply just feeling like he was walking on eggshells (about everything else). His forehead rested against hers as the dark haired woman spoke her next breathless words. The vulnerability clear in them, and he didn't want to let her go, ever. Nothing about the last seven years had been casual, especially not now. "You're mine, Pippa." His own words, breathless and heated. She still was and he was hers. Words he'd said many times to assert his dominance, but this time they held the same weight hers did.
Both Abel's hand's found her thighs now, gripping them to stabilize both of them, but that dark gaze didn't leave her eyes, to show her that this time, him claiming her was different. His body was no longer patient, hips thrusting faster now. "Say it," lips trailing along her jaw, down her neck, marking every piece of warm skin he could find. "Say you're mine, tell me you're mine and then you can cum." His possessiveness finally kicking in in full force, hand wrapping around her throat so she was looking at him again. @pip-danvers
Just the feeling of his light, marking nips on her neck was almost too much for her. She couldn't believe that she had spent these months convincing herself she could live without him. Weeks had been dedicated to erasing every thought of him. Now, having him here once more, the woman couldn't understand how she could have ever done that. The way their kisses made her feel alive; that wasn't something she could just ignore. She just hoped this spelled the end of hating him. Because she much preferred being by his side.
A soft noise of surprise muffled against his lips as Pippa was lifted onto the counter. Pippa's usual cocky smirk graced her lips once again. "Knew it." She quickly pulled off the apron once the knot was undone, throwing it off to the side. Her legs pulled his hips flush with hers, lips still crashing into his with a desperate fervor. "God, I missed you." The gentle words were uttered between kisses. Lifting her hips up slightly to aid in the removal of her panties, Pippa also bunched her skirt up around her waist. Her fingers soon made quick work of the buttons of his shirt. Nails dragged across the newly exposed skin. She wanted to fall into him once more.
One hand tugged on his own dark hair while the other wandered down, palming him through the material of his slacks. There was no time to play coy. No interest either, frankly. This was purely making up for lost time. Feeling the cool metal of his belt buckle, Pippa quickly undid it, pulling it out of his belt loops and letting it clatter to the ground. "Better not disappoint me, boss." she teased, forearms resting on his shoulders once more as she pressed her body close to him. Teasing just seemed to be interwoven into their dynamic; she couldn't help herself. However, the next kiss that connected the two was filled with all of those pent-up emotions; a beautiful mix of passion and longing.

Imani had to push herself off of the poor man in order to get herself upright on her wheeled shoes. "I'm so so sorry.." She said wobbling for a second and quickly putting her arms out to balance herself. "Sorry." She smiled. "I'm real good at going forward, but I don't think I've got stopping down just yet." Imani looked up at the guy "I hope I didn't hurt you or anything..." He didn't look injured, and fortunately he was a lot bigger than her. "I should probably.... uh.." Imani tried raising one foot to try to click the wheel shut, but wobbled again and slammed her foot back down. "It's hillier here than last time I had these on." @abelxlivingstone
"I'm fine," He assured her, worry still fresh on his features. The last thing he needed was her injuring herself outside the agency, his father would throw a fit if she managed to blame the agency for it. "Are you okay though?" He asked, catching her hand as she began to wheel herself off again, shaking his head. "Look, I don't wanna tell you what to do, but, maybe we could walk?" He asked, letting out a little laugh. "I don't want you getting hurt." @xoimani
Kenzo sat at the bar more intrigued in a couple not too far away from where he was thna his own drink. The bar was a little on the slower side and the 'couple' appeared to be on a first date, but the guy was talking nonstop. There wasn't any space for his date to even elaborate on a thought. Kenzo chuckled lightly, bringing the beer up to his lips. "You'd think from the look on her face, he'd get the hint to shut the fuck up." the man shook his head slightly.
"Nah, guys like that never do, he likes the sound of his voice too much." Abel mused, glancing towards the couple, he knew too many men like that in the circles he ran in. "And I guarantee that fuckers trauma dumping on her too, probably talking shit about about his ex girlfriend, or telling her how much he misses her." He took a long sip of his whiskey, as if he needed it too. "That poor girl deserves an award." @fridaynightmuses
April was enjoying the little moment of peace until a certain someone decided to sit down across from her. She didn't mind Abel, he was everything she asked for. A simple hookup with no strings attached but sometimes he does get on her nerve. "Here I thought we agreed to not bother each other in public?" She jokingly said as she placed her phone down onto the table. "Hmm...I was thinking of going for drinks with friends, dance a little and call it a night."
"We did agree on that." Abel's trademark, charming smirk spread across his lips. "But you looked so peaceful, I thought I'd do my good deed for the day and ruin it." The dark haired man's head tilted to the side, putting on his best face of disappointment. "Hm, you can't think of any better ideas?" He asked, his eyes trailing down her body. "There's a lot of things we could be doing, together." @aprilrcse

Can't stop believing I'm the greatest
Hearts breaking till I know I made it
I'll never know what second place is
No pain, no doubt
Till the lights go out
Her fingers fiddled with her necklace, the main reason she always found herself wearing one, at his insistence. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say this might be your sly way of asking me to hang out with you again." Charlotte playfully retorted. Most of her parents' choice dates never went past the first one, but she was open to seeing where this could take them. Plus, even if nothing came of it, it could end like it did with Eli: gaining another good friend.
It couldn't have been easy for anyone to start over in a new town, let alone someone who had to be thrust into new social circles to appease their families. Charlotte was somewhat thankful she never had to go through that. An introverted nature never boded well when having to make home in a new space. She offered him another warm smile, her own dark eyes meeting his. "Now, I have to ask, where have you found this good coffee? And I'm warning you, there is a right answer." the blonde teased.
A soft shrug followed his own inquiry. "Can't complain. Busy with work, per usual." Her days always sounded uninteresting when she spoke about them, the hospital stealing most of the hours from her. "My little sister and her wife came back to town recently, so most of my free time is spent making up for lost time there."
“Mmm, is that a bad thing?” Abel asked with that stupid, sly grin still plastered across his face. He wondered if maybe, keeping Charlotte (Poppy as well) on his good side would keep both his parents happy whilst he went through whatever this thing was with Pippa. Funnily enough the pregnancy was the last of his worries. “I still haven’t really exploded Cedar Point yet, I could do with a pretty tour guide.” He imagined the hot spots of Cedar would look better with her on his arm in a gorgeous dress.
The only scenery he’d managed to see were the views from houses and extravagant backyards with pools, tennis courts and acres of land. “Coffee corner, hands down.” He hoped it was the same answer as hers or perhaps they were going to have a caffeine related argument. “If you say the diner I’m gonna be disappointed in you.”
Abel nodded his head. “That’s right my mom did tell me you have a tonne of sisters.” He recalled, his mother very much liked to gossip so he felt like he was sort of in the know, plus, he knew Lola. “That’s Olivia, right and she’s married to Lola? Lola and I have run in the same circles for years. I’ve only met Liv a handful of times though.” @charlotte-harrington
