I am sharing my story as someone who has endured the devastating toll of war. When the conflict broke out, we in Gaza were forced to flee from our homes in the north to the southern regions of the Gaza Strip. I sent my wife and our two young children, Adam and Hamoud, south with my family, planning to gather essentials and join them in a couple of days. But fate had other plans. The journey from the north to the south became perilous, filled with unimaginable danger, and I found myself stranded, unable to reunite with them.

Our close family is now fractured. My wife, alone in the south with our children, also had to care for my elderly parents and grandfather, who evacuated with them. Tragically, an airstrike in Rafah took the lives of my father and grandfather, leaving us with a deep void.

I remain isolated in Gaza City, enduring a painful separation from my loved ones, watching my children grow up from afar as they navigate increasingly harsh conditions. The loneliness is overwhelming, as I am trapped in the north, struggling to survive amid a worsening food crisis.

We have lost everything—our home, our source of income, our stability. Now, we are homeless, with no stable means of meeting our daily needs. My family desperately needs your support and donations to secure the basic necessities, especially for my children.
