A cramped, fast-paced survival map where you won't have a chance to catch your breath. Think fast.
This map started off as a little test arena to try out my custom-made assets, but ended up evolving into a fully playable experience. It's largely inspired by COD: Black Ops 2's Tranzit.
My first Garry's Mod map, GM_POOL, is now out for public release!
GM_POOL aims to be a super casual sandbox map with lots of custom textures and imported music.
This combines the skills I've learned in my journey with Source Engine so far. I received a lot of help from @feathergust - who also took these lovely photos!

Stealing things is not cool dude. So this Tiffany person reuploaded the football field that appears on Abandoned 4 Good, right?
It's available on Gamemaps if you want improve their file for yourselves.
I'm moreso disappointed that this person did not bother to message either of the original devs first to ask if they could use the football field for their own map.
IF we were on good terms with this user, then we would've encouraged them to put their own twist on it if they gave us credit for it. We're not claiming ownership over the textures that references the NFL, but we're claiming ownership that the field and the goalposts are the same exact ones that we made.

I attempted to reach out to the reuploader of the stage to negotiate a peaceful solution in which both parties would benefit. This was the last recorded conversation that we had with them. This was on Feb 5th 2023.
Fast forward to Feb 6th, in which the person took the football field to put their own twist on it.
Again, we're not disappointed that this person tried to put a new spin on something. We're not happy with the fact this person tried to claim they made the goalposts and the field from scratch by themselves.
We weren't aware that it was reuploaded until last night when we saw it both on Gamemaps and the Steam Workshop.
If you attempt to try out the map through the Workshop, the link now shows that it was taken down. (Subject to change if the reuploader puts in the work to credit who were the original devs).
Here is a photo of Tiff's decompiled version of the curling stadium used. Note how the textures are renamed but still uses the exact same materials.
All in all, folks! Don't be shy if you bring in new ideas for something that we made.
If you want to put your own twist on something or want to use our assets (that we also credit in case it comes from another big-named source like the NFL for example) - message us first!
Something easy like, "Hi! I'd like to put your footfield field and goalposts in my campaign and I'll credit you." Not that hard. :) It's 2022, let's show some common sense!
If you're a meanie though, that's an automatic no.
Fixed the problem where materials would show up as missing if separated from the main campaign.
The campaign is no longer split into two regarding the main levels and the materials. File size has also greatly decreased due to updating the custom textures to be smaller file sizes. This has worked for both devs and players.
Addressing another issue: Please read the description on how to use Admin System and know how to noclip yourself back to a platform.

I split the campaign and the custom materials into 2 addons to decrease file size of the campaigns for myself and other players.
Now, you must subscribe to both the Campaign and the Materials Pack.
Basic troubleshooting are as follows when updating the campaign you're currently subscribed to.
UPDATING THE CAMPAIGN
Navigate to the Campaign's workshop page.
Unsubscribe to the campaign
Refresh the page
Resubscribe to the Campaign
Subscribe to the materials pack.
If these steps are not followed and/or if you have installed conflicting texture addons, this may cause your textures to appear as missing. Any bugs beyond this step I am unable to resolve as following these steps are what makes it work for me.
