So, first off- the attack on Cresselia. It wasn’t planned, that’s for sure. The original plan discussed by Destiny and Lucia (which I’m gonna call the DL-3 plan to shorten it, and also because other reasons ;w; Tell me what you think) only included the capture of Darkrai and Su-chan, but they hadn’t planned on Cresselia showing up to defend Darkrai at the last second. Cresselia uses Lunar Dance to heal Darkrai and give him a chance to run, but he doesn’t. He fights instead, and both of them end up getting captured.

(I imagine Cresselia later calls him a fool, and Darkrai says that he honestly doesn’t know what came over him, and that he’ll make sure to leave her behind from now on. Cresselia fumes)

And now, Sherry. I kinda want to go with the idea that she slowly loses her innocence as the story goes on..? Because, you know, she’s pretty clueless where she stands now XD She seems to think that being cheery and happy and believing in yourself can solve everything, and she should lose faith in that as the series goes on. And then I was thinking that near the end, at the final battle, there should be something that should test that. Maybe Cresselia needs, like, happy thoughts in order to regain her power back but Sherry keeps thinking ‘That’s stupid, that’s stupid’ and doesn't try, or maybe everyone else is preoccupied with fighting other things so she’s left to face Destiny and/or Lucia by herself (we’ll have to decide this too, whether she’ll face Destiny or Lucia- I wanna say Destiny but I also would like an epic son/father face-off between Leptaz and Destiny so... tell me your thoughts ;w;) but she’s scared, she doesn’t want to, she doesn’t think she can.

I just want a cute scene with Umi comforting her and cheering her up and making her have faith again okay that’s all I want

(I also want Umi to come over from Sinnoh and start to go over to hug her or something, only to stop short and stare at her for a little bit before going, “...You’ve changed.”)
