Today was a calm, if not indolent, day. Thick clouds covered the sky completely in the afternoon, allowing the Sun to spread its light evenly - and these kind of days always make me sleepy. I managed to study Contemporary History nonetheless - a monograph of the cold war, to be more precise. I even managed to work out a bit, between a quick analysis and some dumb, fountain pen-written thoughts. I was drinking a cup of spiced black Kashmir Tchaï, with a splash of milk and some savoiardi, when it finally started raining.

I feel like April just flew by for the majority of us, but I am super excited for what May has to offer! Next week I'll be finishing my Lingusitcs course and starting apartment hunting in Bordeaux. I've also made a lot of progress with the book I'm writing and I'm hoping that it'll be fully done by the end of summer! Let's hope May will be kind to us all 🤍
