I can love you.
And still be brave enough to let you go.
“Never make fun of someone’s passion because that’s the thing that saves them from the world.”

Sometimes I wish the world would crumble beneath my feet and quietly come to an end.
But then I remember, somewhere out there, a mother is waiting to meet her baby for the very first time. Somewhere, parents are waiting for their children to come home safely. Somewhere, there are people just like me, carrying wounds I cannot see, yet still choosing to believe in tomorrow.
Maybe hope survives not because life is easy, but because even in the darkest moments, there are still people loving, waiting, dreaming, and holding on.
So for them and perhaps someday for myself too, I hope this world stays a little longer.
In my twenties, I went through more than I knew how to carry.
Heartbreak. Identity crises. Financial struggles. The quiet pressure of trying to become someone everyone else expected me to be.
For a long time, I felt like a machine, constantly moving, constantly doing, constantly giving yet somehow never truly living. Days blurred into weeks, weeks into years, and time slipped through my hands so quickly that I barely noticed myself disappearing inside it.
And then, one ordinary day, something changed.
I stayed home.
I put my phone away.
No endless scrolling, no noise, no rush to keep up with the world.
I spent the day reading, watching movies, sitting with silence.
And for the first time in years, time felt slow again.
I began hearing my neighbor singing in the distance, a baby crying nearby, children laughing and running outside. Strange, isn’t it? The same sounds that once irritated me suddenly made me feel deeply alive.
I started noticing beauty in the smallest moments:
waiting for my cab to arrive,
catching a colleague’s genuine smile,
even my students’ little tantrums that reminded me how raw and human life really is.
My mental exhaustion dissolves into an epiphany
beauty has always been everywhere. It depends on your ability to notice it.
The world never stopped being beautiful, I just stopped noticing.
Maybe happiness is not about chasing bigger things, faster things, louder things.
Maybe it’s about learning how to be present long enough to see the magic hidden inside ordinary life.
