Hi Dear Tumblr Friends - Update
Hi all, first of all thanks for the wonderful prayers which I know many of you have said for my dear hubby and his surgery.
Also special thanks for @skippyv20 who I know constantly offered prayers for him over the past months and who added him/us/our family to her prayer list. People have no idea how many prayers she sends out for many of us on here and we are so grateful for her constant devotion in prayer for healing for many who come here for prayerful interventions.
Hubby's surgery went well. I brought him home from hospital at 8 pm last night after him being admitted at 7am and we have just managed to get him showered between us. The thing is about illness it often brings laughter too and we had some just now!
He had a rather large abcess attached to his chest wall which the surgeon excised and drained. His wound has been packed and has to be dressed now every other day until it heals Some tissue from the area has been sent for examination so we now wait for the histology results from this.
At the moment he is sat with his legs up and says although he is aware of the wound area he is at last free of pain when he moves - just a twinge or two now and again. Nonetheless it is nothing like the pain he has been suffering since February. He really has been through the mill bless him!
So once again dear Tumblr friends thanks for all of your loving thoughts and prayers. Hubby says he is so grateful to you all too and that the prayers are defintely working as he has had no pain killers since last night!
God is good and we are so grateful! Thank you once again everyone 💜😘🙏✝️
