Knot // Episode 6

I saw a couple of predictions here based on the preview that speculated that Nakhun will break his promise to Phatsa. In trying to protect Nakhin he will tell their father that Phat is actually a Pure Omega.

But that's not how I interpreted the situation. In the preview Nakhun says "then I'll do it, can I?" when father tries to force Nakhin into mating with Pure Omega. And so I think Nakhun says so, because he believes that when his father and his assistant will find that Pure Omega - it will be Phatsa. Like at the moment of this dialog from the preview father may still not know yet, who the Pure Omega is. But we as an audience as well as Nakhun know that he'll find out sooner or later. And since Nakhun and Phatsa are already mated, then he can take the blow and assure the father that he'll do the mating instead of Nakhin. In that case father will leave Nakhin alone and later, when it'll be discovered by him that Pure Omega is Phatsa, then they are alredy bonded. The battle of making an heir or not will be conquered only after the reveal has happened by itself.

Although, that's where the mishap can happen and father will assume that Saengnuea is the Pure Omega (or he will be revealed as actually a Pure Omega despite what his introduction card said). Anyhow, whatever the case would be, Saengnuea will be taken to the mansion as a Pure Omega and will be locked up just like we saw in the credit scenes. And then Naphitch will probably smell him and save him and etc and etc.

TLDR; I don't believe Nakhun will break his promise to Phatsa. If my memory serves me right he has never broken any of him promises. This is way too important for him, bc he cares for Phatsa and is trying his best to make him comfortable, feel safe and trust him.

When he and Phatsa are on their way out the door and they stop to chat with Khamphirada first and then Naret walks in, I'm positive Naret's comment about them making too big a deal about Phatsa's health bothered Nakhun, but at the moment he had other things to worry about. But he definitely noticed it.

Then, when they're talking to the doctor and get the negative test result, honestly, to me, I think that while Nakhun looked disappointed, he really was only disappointed at first. Because when the doctor starts going into how it's still entirely possible, he actually perks up. But something about him still looks pensive, and I think that was the moment he was finally having a wake-up call. Because Phatsa's symptoms were actually stress-induced exhaustion and not pregnancy like everyone thought. And Phatsa has been talking about how he feels trapped and he isn't happy. And it's finally starting to make sense to Nakhun.

Except there's still something he's missing here, and I think he knows it. When he and Phatsa get to the cafe, he still looks bothered. And no, I'm reasonably certain that it has nothing to do with the fact that Phatsa isn't pregnant.

Then Ongsa slips up and drops the bomb that Phatsa is the pure omega that Naret has been searching for, and I believe that's the moment Nakhun finally realizes what is happening. Especially when Phatsa all but begs him and Nakhin to not tell anyone. And then Nakhin points out that if Naret finds out, he isn't going to leave Phatsa alone about it. Then Phatsa tells Nakhun that he doesn't want to be used like that, that's he a person and wants to be treated like one.

From the get-go, Nakhun's been carrying this guilt over what he did to Phatsa, and he's been looking for some way to make it right for him. Phatsa not being the one to tell Nakhun that he is a pure omega also means that Phatsa still didn't completely trust Nakhun, which was likely out of fear. Phatsa is obviously very nervous about the fact that Nakhun and Nakhin now know.

This is when I think Nakhun starts coming up with a plan, because part of the reason for Phatsa's stress is because he doesn't feel safe and he doesn't feel like he can completely trust Nakhun. All of this is him realizing that if he wants to make things right for Phatsa and earn his trust, then he needs to do something about Naret.

And the whole situation with Naphitch and Naret turning on Phatsa when the rest of his family presents a united front to him just further cemented it for him. No one in this family is safe as long as Naret has all this power and control, especially not Phatsa.

He’s been forced to learn his father’s business since he was only a child. Basically suffered from parentification of his brothers from his teens and early twenties.

His only friend betrays him by selling drugs in the bar Nakhun had bought for him so he could keep his family’s property (their relationship is downplayed in the series).

He obviously cares about his brothers but one of them is an affair baby that probably at the very least embarrassed Nakhun’s beloved mother.

He’s always expected to be perfect in the eyes of the world and most likely feels like he let everyone down (including his new mate) when he lost control and bit Phatsa.

His example is his parents loveless forced marriage he’s never even seen what a loving relationship looks like.

He’s trying his best.

And now Nahkun knows that his hubby is the pure Omega his father is searching for. Onsa you fool. Hopefully all people who know will handle it right, even if I don't think so.
