Oh. OH. Ninjago people! You know how in the Tournament of Sources Lloyd uses wind for a second there? And it seemed so instinctual too!
I would've thought he'd have more of an aversion to it, given his history with Morro and then I realized.
He knows how to use it.
He was possessed by Morro.
He didn't need to train to be able to do airjitzu, because Morro was in his body when he learned it, he knows how to use wind, because Morro used it when he was in his body.
He probably even knows how to use it in a way Eupharasia doesn't.
Imagine he used it on Nokt like Morro did on the ninja in the first ep of s5, and won before they could diqualify him for his injuries.
The angst. The drama.
Anyway, I think Lloyd and Eupharasia should hang out more often.
Because besides Morro, Lloyd is the next best thing to help her get better control of her element.

It's a bit of an experiment of mine.
A story about a poor young butler who dies in his sleep after assassins invade the home of the royal family he serves. He wakes up more than 300 years later, with the world ending (mostly due to the assassins), him being undead and essentially immortal, and absolutely incapable of dealing with the world he now inhabits.
Oh, and the floating skull is Otto. He's there too.
Genre-wise, it's a sort of progression fantasy, dark fantasy, time loop story, and a bit of a slow-burn, with some time focusing on the characters, their relationships and feelings.

I love how Morro glazers hype him up with clips of possessed Lloyd, with like "This is Morro's prime!" sort of comments.
This is not really Morro though is it?
Don't get me wrong, Morro is a skilled fighter and knows how to use his element to the fullest - Eupharasia has a LOT of catching up to do - but the only reason he ever bested Lloyd was because he was a ghost and Lloyd had no way to fight that at the time.
It had nothing to do with being a more skilled ninja.
And the only reason he beat the other four ninja was because they couldn't use their elements and because they would be hurting Lloyd in the process - and it's not like they didn't come close to beating him multiple times.
Especially Kai.
It's really easy to say you're the best ninja when you're the only one with swords so to speak.
Also that awful take where people say Morro's skills come from hard work while Lloyd's come from talent?
Lloyd was never a talented fighter, Lloyd sucked at being a ninja and he sucked at using the elements of creation.
Whereas Morro was great at using his element from before he even became a ninja.
Who's really the talented one of the two?
(look at this entitled little stinker, buy him all the toys or he'll screech your ear off)
Anyway I love to hate him as a villain, and I hope we get to see him in Dragons Rising again, hopefully meeting og ninja, not just Arin this time.
And I hope we get a very VERY reluctant team up.

so you know how some of the sets have the ninja in dragon forms but missing parts? the claws, or wings- so I give you Lloyd's dragon form, but only half transformed <3

You know, thinking about Doc teasing the idea that Arin could possibly not survive Dragons Rising and then watching some of the interactions between Arin and Lloyd with this in mind...
Specifically Lloyd promising over and over how Arin is gonna be the greatest ninja of all time...
I... NINJAGO WRITERS DO NOT TOUCH THAT BOY.
I feel like at best, it's (like one of the comments pointed out) a fake-out death (are you really a ninja if you haven't "died" at least once?)
But at worst, because I highly doubt they would actually kill someone (let alone a child main character), it would probably be something like Arin sacrificing himself to take some spirit's place or "become" some natural thing, and he'll still technically be alive, but we'll never see him again (think Yue from atla).
OR, honestly best case scenario, he becomes a ghost somehow and we get to see Morro as a more relevant character 😁
I mean Arin becoming a ghost would honestly be plausible, given that we have Morro and Egalt in the Spectral Lands. 🤔
But I agree, I don't think it would be a death death, but some sacrifice thing where he gains power to save everyone but wouldn't be able to come back. Alive, but not story-wise.
Unless the ninja found a way to reverse it.
