QCA6174のfirmwareを更新する必要がある

最初にUSBメモリもしくはmicroSDカードを使って他のPCから上記URLのQCA6174の配下全てをダウンロードしてSDカードに保存する

XPS13でSDカードが読める事が確認できたら

cd /lib/firmware/ath10k sudo rm -r QCA6174 sudo cp -rp SDカード/QCA6174 . cd QCA6174/hw3.0 sudo cp firmware-6.bin_XXXXX -> firmware-6.bin cd ../hw2.1 sudo cp firmware-5.bin_XXXXX -> firmware-5.bin

openSUSE 42.2 with XPS13

USBメモリからのインストールは起動中にSignal 11が発生してインストーラまで辿りつかなかったけど、DVDを作って入れたらあっさり動いた

wifiはIntel 8260に換装してるけど、こちらの動作も問題なし

セキュアブートにも対応しているからBIOSの設定はAHCIに変更するだけで良さそう

やっぱり、KDE neonよりも日本語環境が調整されていて使いやすい

KDE neon ibusの設定

KDE neonでChrome, Emacsは日本語が使えるけどKDEでは使えなかったので下記の環境変数を.xinputrcに追加した

~/.xinputrc

export GTK_IM_MODULE=ibus # ←ここを追加 export QT_IM_MODULE=ibus # ←ここを追加 # im-config(8) generated on Sun, 11 Dec 2016 23:56:52 +0900 run_im ibus # im-config signature: 79417e02097503d87ab7e3a46146338f -

XPS13のwifiをintel 8260に置き換えてからUbuntu16.04を入れた時にしばらくするとwifiが使えなくなる問題がこれで解決できた。ただし、dmesgのエラーログは引き続き出ている

cd /lib/firmware sudo mv iwlwifi-8000C-22.ucode iwlwifi-8000C-22.bak

Intelのサイトから落とせる最新版は8000C-13.ucodeだったけどUbuntuにすで取り込まれてた

[追記] これだけだと繋がらない状況が再発した
