Major Marshal Laurent, a G-Man from Canada who is involved in mainly North American criminal investigations and primarily as a one-man platoon when the going gets tough. Fought in WWI during the intervention of the Russian civil war.

Mariah Mesbah, a masked photojournalist under the alias of “Matthew Q”, sneaks around getting snapshots of events she hears about through a network of police contact which are then spread out to different papers in the country. Also uses the “Matthew Q” pen name when submitting written articles out to publications.

“Austrian born Jefferson Gobel, a wanderer in eastern Europe towards the tail end of the 1890s. Accounts are scarce and never quite the same between those who encountered him, but sometime after the turn of the century he appeared in America having seemingly turned himself over to God, working the confessional at whatever church he finds himself in (though never for too long).

Rumors circulate that he contracted some strange disease while on his travels, requiring fresh blood to survive. Likewise, many claim that he is far older than he seemingly appears, with a photograph from 1894 showing him with the same youthful vigor he displays in 1924.

His keen skills and stubborn nature caught the attention of a wily inventor from out west by the name of Watts who fashioned for him replacement limbs, among which are a large proshetic arm, a leg mounted auger for screw-propulsion, and a proper rebreather device affixed permanently to his face, rebirthing him as an action packed private eye and law enforcement collaborator, The Industrial Man.
