Resize The Worksheet Column And Row Using Microsoft Excel 2016 Techniques

DRAG THE BORDER
First, you need to hover your arrow over the border between the row labels or column. Then click and drag the border to either widen or narrow the individual cell. The columns to the right or rows below will adjust to make room for your changes.
TYPE IN YOUR DESIRED WIDTH
Right-click on the column labels and choose Column Width. Type in a number in the pop-up the window for the width of the column to change. Next right click on row labels, the select row width to adjust the width of a particular row. It is just a basic of Microsoft Excel.
USE THE FORMAT BUTTON
You can find the Format button by clicking cells group under the Home tab. This can also be used to adjust heights widths. Simply select the cells you need to be adjusted, click on the Format button and choose either Column Width or Row Height. Then proceed and key in the number you desire. The cells will adjust immediately.
RESIZING MULTIPLE COLUMNS AT ONCE
It is also possible to adjust several rows and columns to be the same height or width. To do this, select your desired rows or columns by clicking on the labels while pressing down either the control key or even the shift key.
