FYI the part with water receding at the beach is because the water will recede shortly before a tsunami - it’s the trough before the crest of the huge wave.

Also tsunamis rarely come alone, so once a tsunami hits, DON’T immediately go back to the beach, as it is likely at least one more tsunami will come.
